    Easy way to extend WiFI

Bought this to extend our Network out to my workshop with trenching a line. Work great. Fast enough to stream. It does create a little bit of static on my old analog TV when transmitting data to my iPad. Plan to try on a different circuit and hopefully that helps.

This product has really increased my families ability to stream and be connect to wifi in our house. We now have 2 of these in our house and have given different channels to different individuals and it works great for the overall need in our home. Definitely pleased we added this to our router purchase and increased our ability to be connected in our house.

This item is a great solution to our wifi issues. Followed directions and was able to get it running and vastly improved wifi on other side of house. Also it was used to connect to video game without using wifi and noticed the speed of the gaming really improved.

All is missing is more network management options

Install was pretty easy. Worked out better for me than a mesh network considering how long my hallway is. Would be five star if it included more management options like user limits, etc.

I was in need of a solution to resolve the several wi-fi dead spots in our home. Regular range extenders were ineffective. This PowerLine/Wi-Fi combo did the trick. You can create an independent network for each band (2.4ghz & 5.0ghz) and it will not cause a lag on your primary network. Range and speed are seamless. I am very satisfied and I would gladly recommend this to friends and family.

This worked great to extend our WiFi after we purchased a new smart TV that had spotty network access due to the placement in the room. My Harmony remote in the same room had intermittent connection with my home network as well. Once I set this up (super simple) both have great network connectivity and everything works great!

I needed a reliable upstairs access point so bought the AC1000 and plugged it into the power outlet on both ends and quickly configured it. Now I can watch Netflix on my upstairs smart TV and surf the web on my tablet.

Works great even across separate breaker panels

Though I believe there is advice against using this system across separate circuit breaker panels, it works great at my home. I attached the "Adapter" portion directly to my router, which is attached to a circuit on a sub-panel of the house. The "Access Point" portion is on a circuit on the main panel of the house, on the main floor. While the first circuit I tried didn't work well, the second one not only worked flawlessly, but had the highest level of signal throughput available. Coverage is great for my needs, including basement and second floor, plus a fair distance across two large rooms and outdoors. I highly recommend trying this item, but try different outlets/circuits if it doesn't work well for you at first.

I have been using the Netgear AV500 Powerline to get network access between a couple of rooms. The advantages are the absence of long cables and not exposing the desktop over WIFI. But I recently needed to add a 2.4GHz WIFI network to connect some smartplugs, so I decided to upgrade to the AC1000. The Powerline AC1000 allowed me to add the WIFI network and improve my wired connection between rooms. My desktop continues to get good throughput over the Powerline to allow streaming at HD levels. Of course, my desktop is a little more exposed, but that is what firewalls are for. If you have ever set up a router or WIFI access point in the past, setting up the AC1000 will not be a problem.

Didn’t make as much difference as I’d hoped. It improved the wi-DI but not as much as it cost. Overall, not worth the price

Powerline extenders are the way to go!!!!!! I had an Amp range extender but it still couldn't pass the wall I was trying to get wifi too then I learned about powerline extenders and boy is it great. I even get speeds closer to my main router from Comcast!!

Was looking for an easy-to-set-up way to get wireless in a remote room. Just plug one unit into an outlet near the router, connect with a cable and plug the other unit into the outlet in the desired room. This did the job – best part is I didn't need any help installing it and getting it to work. Hooray!

This was exactly what I was looking for. I needed a way to connect my Desktop computer with out wifi to my wifi. It actually served as 2 purposes. It allowed me to connect my desktop and it acts as a wifi extender for all my wireless devices.
