Very simple and easy to set up and position.The online instructions as well as the ones on included made it easy to position the transmitter for best effect.

Easy to set up. You just need to change the WiFi to the net gear one for the stronger WiFi signal. It will not change automatically. It works through my outlet that I am pretty sure is on a separate breaker but within the same electric panel. The download speed is comparable to the router speed.

I wanted to add to my Wi-Fi signal but this item made you use a different password which means I had to flip Wi-Fi in different locations. If your looking for another Wi-Fi altogether in anothet area this is the product you want.

Needed a place to hardwire my PS4 in the basement. I was very hesitant to buy this due to the mixed reviews about extenders and power line adapters in general, but I am satisfied. Very easy to set up. Be aware that your electrical outlet has to be on the same panel. My basement was finished later so a new panel was added, so I use the wireless functionality.

This is a very good wi-fi system allow me to pick up Wi-Fi in almost every part of the house where there was no wife I know I have Wi-Fi and not to worry so many people can log on to the Wi-Fi and the speed is great

Needed to extend my wifi range. Works great and faster than my old router.

I brought to use this as access point so i put nine router in the basement. Mine router was upstairs and there only one cable line so mine signal was very weak in basement which it made it slow. take one of the adapters put it upstairs in the modem take the second one plug in basement plug in router so now i get full signal in the basement and its fast with no decrease speed.

My first use of a Powerline extender. Very pleased with the ease of installation. Instructions were clear and complete. Wish the WiFi signal was a bit stronger.

Bought it because didn't want to run wires all the way from One side of house to other, just plugged in and works like a charm. Made own network with pass and my tenant of efficiency doesn't have to bother me for my Wi-Fi.

Worked like a charm! We have multiple concrete block walls separating sections of our home and this was able to extend our signals perfectly!

Playing 2k can be a hassle when your playing in a dead zone. This made playing on my ps4 soooo much better. My router is in the basement and the ps4 is on the second floor in my room. I used a LAN wire to connect from the booster to the PlayStation and now I actually enjoy playing lol. Thumbs up!

Needed something to extend our wireless signal to the back rooms of our home. I had purchased a signal booster from Amazon but that did not do the trick. This Netgear AC1000 was the answer to our problem. We now have a strong steady signal and can stream shows and browse the internet speedily and easily.

This was easy to get started with and extended me wifi rage significantly

TLDR; It is a good solution based on the convenience but is not nearly as good as running cable. Purchased this to supplement my PS4, as the wireless capability in the PS4 leaves something to be desired. My laptop pulls 100mbps down in the same room as the PS4. PS4 pulls less than 10mbps. Product was plugged into an outlet on a different circuit and still worked. Signal was not nearly what was promised, I would say realistic speed was maybe 5% of the advertised 500mbps. Tested on multiple outlets. Most I got was 40mbps down. As far as for the PS4, it definitely increased the connection speed, but not nearly enough to justify the price. At the end of the day, I bit the bullet and ran cat5e cable like I should have done originally. I would recommend the product to someone that does not have the ability to run cable.

I tried a few "extenders" and returned them. I'm pretty sure those things come with only a blinking light, as they did not do anything else. I finally switched to powerline adapters and what a difference. This Netgear AC 1000 works awesome and as expected. I recommend this to friends.

Awesome product, using for outdoor TV and phone Wi-Fi. Works great, just have to ensure you plug into outlook directly, not a power strip.

Easy to set up, and works much better than my Belkin range extender.
