i have a mancave in the backyard and could not get good wifi signal until i bought this and i get excellent signal strength.

Did exactly what I needed it to do. Easy conectuon. Great range.

Do NOT buy this product if you do not need the Wi-Fi capabilities of this product. You could get the same performance for a lot less with a different product. Though the Wi-Fi capability is what intrigued me to the product to address a Wi-Fi deadzone in addition to the Ethernet port. This product does accomplish what I need adequately but it does not deserves 5 stars. The Wi-Fi is, at best, mediocre. Expect Wi-Fi speeds from this product to be roughly 20% of your wired internet. Furthermore, Wi-Fi range from this product is so-so. I was barely able to get signal on a smartphone about 20 ft away with only one stucco wall in between the phone and the adapter which was on the second floor. I would of really liked the product if the Wi-Fi capabilities were a bit better. If you need Wi-Fi range, you're better off buying just a Powerline adapter and use a router. If you need to add "okay" Wi-Fi signal for about two 300 sq feet rooms, this definitely will do that.

I was very please with Netgear powerline ac1000 wi-fi access point & adapter.

We bought this to extend the wifi to the basement so we could stream movies and videos and it works awesome. Very easy to set up and use.

After trying several wifi extenders, this device was recommended at the store for our type of walls (thick, concrete) and works very well.

Had trouble installing it but discovered it was an issue with my desktop. Once installed everything works well. The extender part is in the basement and the base is upstairs but everything is good. Now it's only been on for 10 days but i am very satisfied.
