Needed a better internet connection from main floor to basement. This works extremely well and was very easy to setup.

I didn't feel like running ethernet and then found out about this device. I set it up and it worked no problem. It's not giving me times as fast as straight ethernet, but it's close enough for me. I'm not sure if it's the device's fault or my 1950s condo's electrical wiring that is preventing me from getting faster speeds, but it's good enough for me and I didn't have to run ethernet.

I would refer this purchase to friend I bought for my son and it works well in his room

I live in an older home, but needed an ethernet connection in a very inconvenient location. Although I was skeptical that using power lines, particularly in an older home, would be effective I decided to give this option a try. It turns out that the risk was worth taking. This option is doing exactly what I needed it to do.

My NetGear Powerline WiFi1000 allowed me to have a strong signal at the far end of the house including the 2nd story.

It works great and allows me to have wifi in the back of my house and outside. I love it! Would recommend for anyone having range issues. Much better then the traditional range extenders that don't use the power lines.

I live in an aparetment with high quality construction - the downside of which is that it quashes wifi signals. I used this to run LAN into a PS4 and extend wifi range to my devices in the living room. It works fantastically. My only complaint is devices hookes uo to it can't take full advantage of my internet speed.
