This is good for relieving some wireless overload issues by switching to direct connection but will not correct total band width or DSL stability issues. I would have given it a 5 but documentation and too technical information, written for it guys, made configuration more work than it should have been.

Really boosted my internet thru the house. Wasn't as user friendly as I thought, had to utilize the Internet to connect.

I live in a newly constructed apartment whose high quality materials block wifi signals. My wifi going out of the bedroom into the living room was unreliable. I used this to extend the range and it works like a charm. We have a PS4 plugged directly into it, and 2 to 6 phones hooked up to it at any given time. This is in addition to a PC and a PS4 plugged directly into the router this communicates with. Been using it for a couple months and it's going strong!

Might be more expensive than regular expanders but for tbe price you cant beat they way it boost your wifi signal

I thought this would help me but it really didn't. Not sure why I fell for this gimmick, but I guess at the time I really needed something and wasn't thinking right. The setup isn't hard, but once you get these two devices outside of six feet from each other, it doesn't help. At best you might get an extra bar of WiFi while sitting in the bathroom, and even that is hit or miss. Do yourself a favor and get a more expensive mesh wifi extender, it'll likely solve the problem you're trying to fix.
