I have a very large house and have this on the opposite side as the base (where my modem is located). Most of the time it works well although there is quite a bit of signal strength loss. However it drops out on a fairly regular basis for a few seconds.

Easy set-up and good results tonextend our internet for Nest camera on outside lanai.

so far so good. Speeds not the best on the opposite side of the house but way more (30Mb) for doing most things on the interenet. In the same room I was able to pull a little over 100Mb in speed test.

I was looking for a product that it would help extend the range in my home because the current router does not reach the farthest room in our two story home. After plenty of research and tons of YouTube videos I am very pleased with this product. It is doing exactly what it was intended for with no interruptions. I did have to call customer service to set it up but that wasn't too painful.

We have a two story home and had significant loss of streaming capability in our walkout basement family room. By installing the Netgear Powerline 1000 Wi-Fi- Access Point and Adapter, we have been able to stream movies, music, and television signals to our family room devices without difficulty. A very easy and inexpensive fix to a frustrating problem.

Needed to have internet in my bedroom to a machine that didn't have wireless card. This piece of electronic worked perfectly by sending internet connection through the power outlet from the kitchen where my router is to the bedroom.

This type of adapter is good if the wifi is downstairs and you're up stairs for better wifi signal. Read the instructions carefully to figure out how it works. It took me a while as I didn't fully understand it.

I had no prior experience of this technology so didn't know what to expect in terms of difficulty of installation and how effective it would be. I'm glad to say it was all simple and worked like magic. There seems to be a lot of choice when it comes to buying boosters/extenders but I felt I made the right decision.
