My Gateway (router) would not reach the other end of house because of cement block and steel construction, The Netgear adaptor took care of the problem

It seemed to help at first, but after checking speed I gave up and had cable company install their hardware. Now I get wifi download speeds at the same rate as the computer its connected to. This includes the detached pool house 100 ft away from the modem

Got internet through this adapter but it was spotty and very slow. Though in all honesty, I assume it had more to do with my wiring than the adapter. I have used these before in my apartment and family members homes and they have worked quite well.

It is a device that works perfectly. Signal range is very good. You can configure it easily.
