Not doing it’s job

I live with my daughter and we have 3 tv’s and 2 cellphones connected to the WiFi and this booster hasn’t done a thing for it. Actually my WiFi somehow seem to be worse than before my purchase. If it don’t improve in a day or two it will be returned

NetGear Powerline

Bought this item since it used the house power wiring and would then broadcast the wifi signal in another room distant from the router. It works very well and solved the problem of the frequent signal loss that I was previously experiencing.

Horrible

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Either my Unit was defective, or the wiring in my entire house was not up to par for this thing to work. No matter how much I tried to get this thing to work, it wouldn't. And by "work" I don't mean "get it to boost my signal" I mean it literally wouldn't work, like maybe 1/2 mbps. If you want to take a stab at it go for it. Be warned of 2 things: 1. It's "simple" to setup, but you can't really tweak settings on it from what I could tell 2. If you call NETGEAR customer service for help with this thing, MAKE SURE YOU ARE CALLING THE RIGHT COMPANY! There is a scam going on that has a fake website that looks 99% identical to the real company website, and its promoted as the top site, and the 1st thing they will want you to do is remote in to your computer. Need I say more?
