I was looking for a way to get internet upstairs. Our signal strength was very low! After plugging this unit in and about 5 min of setup my internet signal dramatically improved ! I can now stream movies on my bedroom whereas before I could not. Great product and works like a charm. Solved my problem without adding any problems!

With this network extender I have a signal even outside the house, more than 300 feet away from the router. I've had zero issues and it was easy to setup!

I purchased this to use in a house where the modem and router are upstairs, speed at router is 5mbps with Cat5e, and there are usually 6-10 devices on the WiFi at one time which means beyond slow dial up internet. This allows me to have my own personal WiFi network and one wired connection directly into the router through the electrical wiring in the house. I always have 5mbps in the basement. Not sure what max speed this is actually capable of through house wiring due to incredibly slow internet from provider. But for my situation it is great.

I believe its pretty good, only problem is that i didnt get the connection i needed since its an extender, it was a bit weak for a signal like around 25 mbps

Looked to expand my "Whole Home Coverage" Panorama system with Cox Cable Communications. Their system had a few "Holes". Not wanting to pay their $75 hook up fee and $5 a month rental fee, I checked around and found this to work. I tried another Next Gear that didn't hard wire, and I couldn't ever get it to communicate. This worked flawlessly. Right out of the box, no lengthy phone call with someone on another planet and time zone. Put it in my grage so I could get my Geni Garage door opener to communicate with the web. Works like it said it would.

Needed this to enable a outdoor Nest cam about 70 feet from our router. Plug in, sign in. Super easy and gives option for a super fast another wifi network.

Extremely easy to set up, and works great, even though there are two electrical panels between the units. Surviving the brutal heat in our garage so far.

I put down in the basement where I have a printer and computer. Had no problem with the setup, just don't have a wi-fi device setting by it are it may not stay connected to internet.

I use this for my job. I work from home and my internet router is in a different room. I highly recommend this if you want strong Wi-Fi in different rooms of your house.

I only wish I had found it sooner. It provides wifi to an inaccessible location. 10 MB/s+. Plug and play easy.

It took me less than 20 minutes to set it up and works flawlessly. No speed drops. We are getting the 2nd one for the basement.

I purchased this product to be able to get a stronger WiFi connection upstairs on my iPad. It works great for checking email, but is inconsistent in it's performance when watching video. Sometimes while watching video it works great and other times the video frequently freezes up due to buffering. The setup was quite easy, although the directions (or I should say the lack of directions) that came with mine made it more of a challenge than it should have been. I called Netgear customer service and although both representitives I talked to were very courteous they were very lacking in the knowledge of their product. The first representative gave me incorrect instructions. I ended up figuring things out on my own after about 20 minutes of being on the phone with the 2nd representative attempting to help me. It made me chuckle when he then went on to ask me if I wanted to purchase extended customer support from them.

We needed to expand our internet range and already had a super router, outgrown house is long. So we tried this and it works great. One end plugs into router and a wall plug, other end plugs into an outlet where you want to expand to. The added WiFi availability is a great bonus!

This product is easy to install and performs very well.

With me now having to work from home my company required me to utilize their computer system. The problem is that it required an ethernet cable. The cable would have been extremely long from where my modem was to where the computer needed to be setup along with some unnecessary modifications to my wall. This adapter was so much better and works as well as having an ethernet cable plugged directly into the modem. I highly recommend it.
