Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the Quest All-in-one VR Gaming Headset's immersive VR experience, ease of use, and impressive graphics. Many appreciate its wireless functionality and the convenience of built-in storage. However, some users note that the headset's weight and battery life could be improved, and that motion sickness and resolution are potential drawbacks for some users.

I like the headset and the functionally. i have been having issues with the left control losing connection constantly and have tried the steps Facebook suggested and still have issues. Deciding whether to return it or not....if i can not get a replacement left controller. Dave

So, I am back at 6:30am from numerous attempts to troubleshoot this product, the latest at 6:00am so it is not too bright in the middle of a soccer field. But even then, it still will not work! It is either the area is too small (an emptied out two car garage is too small even for the Anne Frank VR), too bright, you are in the middle of a huge field with no one around it still thinks the area is not big enough, etc. Two many misadventures to continue fighting with this product: 1. I get the product, and I try to install it. I have an iPhone X, with the latest iOS versions and no remaining apps to update. Installing it, it only lists the Go and the Rift! And this is a few weeks after launch! A removal and reinstall does not address the problem until after a lot of troubleshooting. But don't worry, if you send them an email after spending $499, they will get back to you in 1-2 business days! 2. I get stuck in an infinite loop logging to Facebook with this product. 3. I draw the guardian area around me in my basement and I can use a few of the demo apps. So far, so good. 4. I try Star Wars. Not big enough so I cannot advance past the first two minutes. It seems you need to have A LOT more space to get this to work than the Go (which I own and have a better opinion of). 5. I clear out my two car garage to use. Still not enough room - seriously! How large of an open room does one need to use this thing?! How large are these people's houses?! 6. It is noon, so I go to the soccer field behind the elementary school (summertime). It says it cannot work there because it is too bright! I am like, how persnickety is this product?! 7. So I wake up at 6am to try to get this to work. Head over the field again. That should work, right? No, I am standing at 6am in the middle of an empty field trying to draw boundaries around me. The box telling me to draw continues to get in the way. 8 or 9 times I finally manage to struggle through drawing the boundaries (twenty minutes of this), and then it cannot recognize this and collapses them around me! I have no way to override this. 8. If you cannot get this product to work in the middle of a field at 6am, you cannot get it to to work anywhere! 9. There are hardly ANY offerings for this product - kind of embarrassing. I had falsely assumed the Go items would be supported, or at least my purchases of Go items would be respected and work for what is sold on the Quest. Nope, had to re-buy some of those as well. I would either get a Go, or wait for them to offer a better product and iron out the kinks of this product can be used. I am taking this one back, and I suggest you save yourself the trouble by waiting this product actually works in a later version.

Overall a great product, only downfall is there are limitations compared to one that you would plug into a PC. With this one I wasn't able to see certain things in games or even play certain games

Worked great for 14 days and went into a boot loop. Returned within 15 day window. Had to wait a week for delivery as if as out of stock. VR works great except the goggles are heavy and not comfortable to wear for too long.

so many games not available and once the initial coolness wears off we stopped using it. It would be nice to get games from steam onto the oculus quest??? like Dead space or Bioshock or other console games. The games are lame.

I like this product, but I am disappointed it did not come with the 3 Vader immortal games. I should have ordered it from gamestop. Gamestop offered the 3 games and a cheaper protection plan with the product.

I've had fun on this thing but there are so many drawback that keep it from being something to take seriously. It's gimmicky and fun occasionally but sadly, I think it may end up collecting more dust than use.

Was fun for a while, but lost interest due to lack of longer play time games. Most games are done in a day or two. Some good work out games, but other than that it gets old fast.

Buggy, ugly, overhyped, uncomfortable, poor resolution and gets boring fast. To make matters worse, it requires that you give personal information to Facebook, and requires location permission (which serves absolutely no purpose to you as a user, and is only required to give Facebook yet another data point to use against you for advertising/manipulation purposes). Avoid this headset like the plague. Go with a Vive.

The VR device is good, but the head strap is not comfortable. it's too light and the front is really heavy, gets uncomfortable after relatively long time use.
