Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the Quest All-in-one VR Gaming Headset's immersive VR experience, ease of use, and impressive graphics. Many appreciate its wireless functionality and the convenience of built-in storage. However, some users note that the headset's weight and battery life could be improved, and that motion sickness and resolution are potential drawbacks for some users.

The firs gen is now complete! This is decent technology but the content is not quite at the level I had hoped it would be. The next generation should be stellar.

If you dont have a pc that can run vr at all then i recommend this, but if you have a pc that is good enough for vr then i suggest the rift s since is a lot more comfortable

I bought this on the road but was vastly disappointed with the quality of graphics presented. Even with the link cable, it's just sub par compared to others.

Best Buy is Great! Oculus Support SUCKS!!!

Great product, but the right controller was defective(per Oculus support after 12 emails). Oculus doesn’t have a phone support number only emails. I had to return this to Best Buy because they could fix the issue and for$500+ I would think this would be a quality product with quality support. They would not send me a replacement controller even if I paid for it!! Will not buy Oculus product strictly due to lack of support!!!

I love it, but upset that I just got it and it’s already discontinued. The new one will have more memory and will be cheaper.

I'll give Oculus credit - the Quest is a great piece of hardware. Unfortunately, Oculus software and support is utter crap. I held on to my Quest to the end of Best Buy's return period in the hopes that support could address, or even commit to addressing the myriad bugs that were plaguing the Quest. At the direction of support I did a factory reset of the Quest 3 times. Two of those times, the problems were briefly fixed, which is why I know it is software and not hardware that is at fault. In addition, when I attempted to return purchased apps in the store, I learned there were limitations on returns not made clear at the time of purchase. In general, the policy at Oculus seems to be to screw the customer, which as they are owned by Facebook, should not have come as a surprise. When support would not commit to replacing my Quest if it continued to have problems, I decided I had to return it within the Best Buy return period. Maybe in a year or two they will have worked out the bugs, but I would strongly urge anyone considering the Quest to save themselves the headache and save their money.

Great headset to play Drop Dead and Space Pirate. 7 degrees of freedom, +1 for no wire to trip over. Buuuut. Vader is garbage. Supetrhot is ok, youtube has poor 360 quality, Netflix screen should allow zoom. Windlands is missing and ... Facebook has bought a clear winner, but might kill it off with lack of content. Won't buy a second headset until content is improved.

The speakers are built into the headband. My right one broke withing the first 3 hours of using it. Then when I tried to return it for a new one the store said they were completely out and couldn't even order one. Save your money and wait for supply and demand to level out and hopefully by that time they can figure out a more robust design.

Fun, but you will feel sick after using it. Works as advertised, except you can't walk anywhere while using it. I prefer games on a traditional monitor or tv for sure. This is not a relaxing product in any way.

I was hesitant to purchase because I was not so sure I would use it that much. As soon as I got home I downloaded the app at 10pm. Entered the matrix, ate the green pill, and before I knew it, I looked at my watch which read 2:45am. I have been at work today, jonesing to get off and play. It is so much more than just games. You can interact with others, watch movies in a virtual theater, browse the net, go on a vacation, or be entertained for hours with just the tutorial. If you are doubting the graphics or controls, DON’T. It is that good, and I have not even scratched the surface. I’m sure I will learn fifty other things you can do on Quest this evening. It is pretty amazing that you can pull out a VR set from a box, slap some batteries in the controls, and be swept into an immersive fully interactive world. My mind is blown. If I would have known how good VR is, I would have bought the rift a long time ago. I feel the wireless Quest takes it to a whole new level of immersion by not having wires though. It is a completely different VR compared to the sets that utilize a phone as the screen. Not even in the same league. Snag it up. I am Super happy with it!

I feel lucky I bought this and they released the new model a month later and pretty much abandoned this. No. No I do not. I wont buy more oculus stuff. The closed store, and general unfriendly nature of the company is offputting.

We were so excited to get them and after waiting 2 months for a set to be available it has been ok but not what I felt like we paid for. There are times the software locks up and there are dots on the lenses that are irritating.
