Returning due to screen tearing and unable to update payment message

I am a PSVR owner and enjoy it. The PSVR’s tracking is so so, but games are great. I picked up the Quest because it is such a pain to set up the PSVR. I was always hooking and unhooking the unit because it doesn’t have 4K pass through. And the no wires freedom of the Quest hooked me in. I just got it today and have been using it for a few hours. Wow is all I can say! This is the way VR was meant to be played! The tracking is superb. The room scaling without wires is a complete game changer. I let my son try it out, and it was all smiles ear to ear. And that was only with the set up demo! I hope Oculus sells millions of these. I truly think this platform could be what sparks VR hitting the mainstream!

This is a great system even with the limited # of games I've tried so far. There's a kind of wonder to being in a game instead of watching from outside the screen. Being able to touch and interact with things and creatures is amazing. Not to mention walking around in a virtual space. I look forward to trying more games. A tip for girls/smaller people is to wear a knit winter hat/beanie under the system if the head straps feel too loose for you, it works great for me. I also wear glasses and am using the included glasses space so that might effect things too, but if feels comfortable with the hat on. Although this is a great VR system, the quest will not replace your tv or laptop for watching media, especially if you like crisp HD/4k content. I got a bit hyped seeing people talk about things like big screen and netfilx, but really the picture isn't as good as a normal tv thanks to the screen door effect being more noticeable in that situation. It's not unwatchable but I prefer my tv/laptop. Thankfully the screen door thing is much less noticeable while playing games. All in all the system has it's flaws, but I'm still giving it 5 stars because I think it has a lot of good points too. It really is impressive considering it's the first step for wireless stand alone VR.

I bought this device on day one. I was very pleased with the in-store demo and knew that I would be taking one home as soon as the demo was done. The device setup (network connecting and guardian setup) were easy to perform. The tracking of the positioning and controllers is excellent. The game availability is a bit limited at the moment, but that's going to change very soon from now. My only complaints are that (1) the games that I own on my Oculus Go is that I must purchase the games that I own on my Oculus Go again. If they were available at even a discounted a price I wouldn't have as much of a complaint. (2) The chipset, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, is the same found in the Samsung S8. The graphics are very nice, although I am left wanting a little bit more. I wish that the device would have come with, at least, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, the same chipset found in the S9. I don't know if I will be purchasing many of my games again, as I don't know how much more pleasure I will get out of them just because I have a bit more range of freedom now. I will definitely look for new games to enjoy, though.

coming from owning a playstation vr my expectations were low for any other vr because i felt like vr was just not going to get better anytime soon but after owning the oculus quest for just 2 days its just crazy how easy it was to set up and start having fun. with having no wires just awesome how free you fill to me its the best VR out there right now

This is the most astonishing thing I have ever seen in an electronics device, gaming console, or computer. No wires needed, no phone needed, no computer needed... Go into gorgeous, complex worlds in seconds. Graphics are great... Thought it would be a huge downgrade from pc, but it's really not crazy different. And, gameplay is all the same. Beat Saber, Super Hot, Robo Recall, etc. are awesome! Even the set-up of virtual boundaries and the tutorial for first-timers is amazing. Display is very crisp and everything is very clear when the headset is adjusted right. Comfortable fit, speakers sound really good... I honestly can't say enough about how great this experience is. OCULUS NAILED IT!

I have all the Oculus products starting from DK2. Loved the Rift, but hated the cable and the difficulty of hauling it around. Had to replace the cable once. Loved the Go, but wasn't keen on 3DOF or it's limited processing power. Oh but the Quest! It's like a quirky love child of the Rift and Go. Quirky because if fixes many of the issues I had with both, but not everything. However, what this kid does do, it does well. Everyone I have shown it to wants one. That was not the case with the Rift or the Go. Despite it's shortcomings (:cough: Baterry life, no cases available at launch, can't use it in the dark 'yet') this is an outstanding unit that has so much potential to kick this VR thing into the mainstream. If you can get one, get one, especially if you are totally new to VR. While it's not quite as good as the Rift in graphics quality (if the Rift was 100, then the Quest would be 85-90), the fact that you can move without a freaking cable is golden. The graphics are more than good enough to make for an incredible, immersive experience. This is a game changing unit. I don't think even Oculus was expecting this much demand.

The Oculus Quest is a game changer. Literally... games will never be the same after you have tried this magnificent headset. It is comfortable, powerful, and most importantly everything you need for high end VR is now in 1 box. You put on the headset and pickup the Touch controllers and you are done. This is even easier then 2D gaming and lightyears ahead in fun and excitement. The screen is amazing with its dark blacks and vibrant colors. The tracking is perfect for the headset and 99% perfect for the Touch controllers which is much better than what I can say for some other VR controllers. The Touch are the best on the market and the games make full use of them. I could go on like this forever, but I have to stop sometime. In short, buy it now. You will not regret it.

I received my oculus quest today. The graphics may not be as good as pcvr, but they are better than I expected. Playing VR anywhere with no need for a PC and no wires is awesome. I still love my oculus rift for higher end games, but beat saber and space pirate trainer are both great on the quest! Had a issue when I first turned it on where it said it wouldn't track I had to unplug and turn it before it would work that is why I gave it 4 stars.

this device is just INCREDIBLE in every sense of the word! The tracking is great, optics are clear and I cannot stress enough how super easy and FAST it is to get in and out of a VR game. Oh and speaking of which, the load times for the games are VERY fast as well. A good example of ease of use is the other day when I was cooking dinner, I had the Quest on the Kitchen island and while I was waiting for the noodles to boil, I picked up the Quest, put it on for some Beat Saber sessions and it literally took less than 30 seconds to get right into a session, maybe even 15 seconds! Its THAT easy and quick. I love this thing, bought it the day it came out and have literally played on average 2 hours a day EVERY DAY and just keep coming back for more. The bottom line is this. Its INCREDIBLE, VR is here to stay and I am loving it and I wish I could give this thing 6 out of 5 stars, its that good.
