I was skeptical about the ability to fully submerge into a game . This system provides a pc experience without lacking the quality . Also there is a upgrade option to connect a pc coming out soon . Definitely worth the money

option to have no wires, and pcvr at same time its the best all in one tracking could be better though fighting boxing type of games seem to be wonky sometimes but its overall pretty good and way better than psvr.

It’s great because you can move all around the house with this model. You can also hook it up to a PC for the games that require better graphics. However I could not get this to work with Rick and Morty. That game is loaded with bugs when it comes to working with the Quest. So maybe the Rift is better in some aspects. It’s also much heavier then the rift.

This thing has helped our family remain sane during the Covid-19 crisis - it's a great distraction. That said, I was VERY fortunate to get mine at the MSRP, as may retailers (like Walmart) list this item on their web site for the regular price but "not in stock." However, they sell the EXACT same item (same SKU and specifications) for about $100-150 MORE, and for that price, it's magically in stock. So, unless you are just so desperate that you're willing to pay the premium, prepare for a challenge in getting the price match at the normal price. I probably didn't need the 128G version vs the 64G, but as is the case when buying a mobile phone, etc., if you can afford to do it, opt for the greatest amount of storage, as you can't upgrade this in the future. Game play is enjoyable, though there isn't a great variety of games out there YET. Don't expect XBox or PS (or PC) catalogs of options. That said, it's very enjoyable/entertaining, and the supply of options will grow as the technology matures. It can become uncomfortable to wear the headset after 30-60 minutes, but there are "hacks" all over the Internet to address this. And with the right cable (not included), this unit CAN be attached to a compatible PC to play SOME games that are advertised as being only for the Rift (as well as some Steam games).

I loved it but I am a little weak stomached so it made me dizzy and nauseous real quick. My brother was able to adapt without any issues l. Other than that I love how everything is wireless and feels so real!!

In regards to graphics, this thing is great (but don’t expect it to beat higher end rigs). The true selling point of this tho, is the fact it’s wireless and that it doesn’t need a computer hooked up to it to play it.

Long term review. I've had this almost a year and I'm surprised that I'm still using it lol. It feels like it's built really well. I wish the battery life was better but it's still pretty good. I get about 2 hours of battery life. It's enough for 1 session but I just need to remember to charge after each use. It's relatively comfortable. I did get an aftermarket strap that attaches to the factory harness for extra support. If you're like me with an Asian nose, you'll get light leakage but it's hardly noticeable once you're immersed into VR. Overall I highly recommend this. It's also a great way to get in shape! You'd be surprised of the workout you get with VR.

The Oculus Quest is a very unique and amazing VR headset. I bought one about a month ago and I play it almost everyday and I haven’t lost any interest in it. There are some issues with the lenses fogging up if you play for too long. An easy fix for that is to wipe away the fog using a microfiber cloth, and if the foam pad begins to stink you can easily pop it out, wash it, then pop it back in (let it dry first). There are many fun games but if you or your kid wants to get a game they saw someone playing on the Rift it may not be available for the Quest. On an other note, it’s a very nice and awesome headset due to it not needing a computer to power it, the quality of games, and the amazing experience!

I resisted purchasing the Oculus Quest because of the price. Had I known how awesome these are, I would have bought long ago. The graphics are amazing and you really feel immersed into whatever you're watching/playing. There are a lot of fun games available, and I'm sure there will be more and more eventually. Some games are a little bit pricey, considering how long they take to get "through" it, but some games you can play over and over. If you're on the fence about the price, go for it...you will be amazed. I don't usually get the extended warranty on things, but you might consider it with these, given the chances you could unexpectedly hit or run into something while in the VR world.

My 12-Year old son saved his money to purchase a VR headset. He was debating between this and the HTC Vive. He ended up getting this one because he did not need a computer to use it. Originally I thought that he was wasting his money because this is expensive. However, now I feel like it was well worth it. He can use it anywhere and has brought it to lots of friends' houses. The selection of games is great and he is loving all that he has played so far. Another thing I like as a parent is that we can see what he is seeing on our phones/tablets via the app. This not only helps me monitor what he is playing and viewing, but it also helps my other kids watch and feel included when they are not taking a turn on it.

The aspect of not having to use a PC really makes the Quest a great choice for beginners to VR, which shows as both my 14 year old and my 6 year old loved using and found a lot of ease with it. The only thing I would complain about is its somewhat short battery life (which is a nitpick to be honest), and the fact that it can be very uncomfortable to use and the adjustment process it a pain. If the headset isn’t place absolutely perfectly, you’ll lose fine focus on whatever you’re looking at which can get annoying at times. Other than that, it runs pretty smoothly, has a nice selection of games, and the controllers handle beautifully.

Invest in prescription lens covers or contacts. Do not wear glasses with it as their lenses don't even have a basic scratch resistance coating. One can scale the distance ones eyes are away from one another via hardware, but this feature does not have a lock or sufficient pressure to keep it needing readjustment during extended play sessions or play sessions that require a lot of movement (think Beat Saber type movement). Aside from that, you have to go into the dev options to increase the resolution manually, otherwise it is as HD as the Oculus Rift. The OLED is nice but lacking even cr and replaceable lens protectors similar how to the prescription ones work and no easy way to replace the lenses makes me rate this product as not being ready for the consumer market. The cloth wrap to it does not seem to come off and easily gets dirty... should be a removable cloth (wrap) or (easily cleanable) plastic. They should include or partner to sell a USB-C female to USB-A adapter as whilst finding one was not hard, most will be disgruntled with the Oculus Link without such an adjustment. I have a USB-C port but wanted to test it as such as most people do not. The Guardian walls are quite nice and necessary to make VR closer to consumer grade. A lot of games on Quest are low res versions of their Steam counterparts, which while I expected it, the titles on the Quest need to more accurately represent themselves as such. Is the only mobile VR gaming platform to not us a phone with more notably a hoop jumping wireless desktop gaming experience. The interfaces are goofy. When in Oculus Link mode, there is no HUD when "Home" to check the battery levels... have to exit out of link mode. If one only cares about the headset battery level, one can look at the Oculus desktop app through built-in Oculus Link virtual desktop. If there is a way, it is not clear how to add additional virtual monitors in addition to the physical ones. When placing screens, if their face is up or down they won't curve... unlike when the screen's edge is facing the floor/ceiling... makes for a less comfortable ti lay down and watch media on the OLED screen... in real life I think curved screens from home entertainment are a stupid as unlike a movie theater, the scaling anglez and distance are likely unideal for all but one person... albeit nice in VR. I don't find it notable but could see it being an issue for others: If you have a boney face the headset might not be comfortable and the headstrong takes some adjusting... it being slightly off can make the difference between pain and comfort... wish there were locks of some sort to keep it from anguarly shifting as well as a way to strap it under your chin for those games that require a bit more movement. The headset seems to be nitpick about charging... I have to unplug and replug in my charger at times despite my phone being able to charge from the charger when I test to make sure it is not the charger. the Summary: I have played a lot of games and due to COVID-19 I invested in VR. Being a fan of OLED and seeing this was the same resolution as the Valve Index, I decided upon this. If it weren't for the various gripes, mainly being no replaceable lens protectors and what could be considered at best to be misleading advertising regarding the resolution, then this would be a 4 star headset at least. Until they accurately represent the stock vs capable resolution and make it possible to change the resolution from inside the headset or Oculus App non-dev GUI... as well as start selling or partner to sell lens protectors if not cost effective and easily replaced lenses, this will be a 2 star product. Therafer with various other quality of life improvements it could easily be a 4-5 star headset.

Fun games for the whole family. Immerse yourself in a virtial game world, like never before. Something for everyone. Mom can even get in her cardio workout, when she can get a turn to play :-P All the other game consoles are collecting dust now. Only one drawback so far & that's the hand controllers use up a lot of AA's so probably best to invest in rechargeable & keep some charged and ready to go :) If there's only one headset in the household, it's probably best to order some disposable face masks, that go in between the players face & the headset, for sanitary use (remember I mentioned it's great for cardio :))
