The sensors will not work. I tried every USB 3.0 port I had and it would not work. Tried all three of my video connections. Nothing. Returned it. Oh and yes I did all the recommendations to fix this.

This kept saying not compatible with my computer but my computer fit all the requirements. Had a ton of software issues as well. Was a really fun tutorial but when playing games was frustrating trying to get this to work.

When I got this headset, right out of the box the cable was kinked and the second day the the screen would black out every so often. Then it would black out about every 10 seconds. Ended up returning it. Don't Buy

I purchased this product on line and thought it was the quest. I needed a converter to make it work but Best Buy did not have the converter so I returned the product only to find the converter on amazon.

The rift maybe goog. Best buy sucks. We were promised a geek swuad replacment when ordrred on 12/19 thst we woyld have by 12/21 then 12/22 now 12/24. Will NEVER buy another "Best Buy" p at product!

Dont buy. It was not as I expected, I thought it would be a great experience but the quality of the games was bad and you can see every pixel and jagged line, very disappointed.

They don’t tell you that you have to have a certain grafi card for there be to work! Tried to get firmware update and they don’t have anyone that knows what they are talking about

Sadly I haven’t even had this thing for a year and it broke 2 months again out of no where doesn’t work at all and I’m very sad and disappointed waste of money.

Unable to get it to work. Tech support almost no existed. Had it a month still can't use it. Very disappointed in product and oculus tech support. Would not recommend.

Audio and stability issues continue ever with powerful computer... I had to return mine. Love that it is light weight but Quest 2 is still a better buy in my opinion.

My PC wouldn’t except the cords. Tried a lot of different you-tube video, finally gave up. It was bad because it was my sons big present and everything else is sold out.

Couldn’t use it and had to return the product. When purchasing this I didn’t know that it would require a gaming computer. I’m not buying a gaming computer just for VR.

This product sucks, no one uses the DisplayPort cable and it should say something letting you know you’ll need the port for it or a converter. Quest 2 is the way to go.

i waited so long for my oculuc rift s then when i got through the setup it said i had a hardware issue but you know i just got a faulty one gonna return it and get a quest

Facebook account bull!! I don't have Facebook for me and the kids wanted this stupid thing. Facebook wouldn't let me create an account for the kids.

Expensive junk. Stopped working after 6 months. No physical damage, just quit. Now trying to hassle with getting a replacement.

If you've been on the fence with VR, it's time to see what everyone's talking about. Overall, if you have a semi-capable gaming PC (GTX 1070 recommended or better, AMD RX Vega) then it's time to give VR a try, and the Rift S is the perfect way to do so. Pros: The good refresh rate is perfect for gaming Accurate motion tracking with both the controllers and your head motions (which means less likely for motion sickness) Huge library of games, and compatible across numerous game marketplaces Quality screen with better resolution All you need is in the box Setup is easy but takes a second Cons: Only compatible with DisplayPort graphics ports 16-foot cable may annoy some (look into the Quest instead) External headphones should be used for the full effect of sound and immersion I won't go into crazy detail about specs, etc., other than that it's a fine upgrade to the original Rift, so if you're thinking of jumping in it makes the price point worth it. $400 may seem steep but there are plenty of peripherals that are quite a bit more expensive and don't have everything needed right in the box. Setup took about 15 minutes, and the on-screen Oculus application walks you through everything. After experiencing my first VR game, I was hooked. I instantly understood why so many people have started in VR. I think this is the best time to jump-in, mainly because the headsets are cheaper, but have the quality to push the games you can play on them better than previous iterations. Plus, so many companies are pushing VR software that there is a lot to discover. One of the best parts of the Rift S is comfort. I found that even for 1-2 hours of gameplay, the adjustments and shape never infringed or hindered my experience, and was comfortable throughout. My only gripes boil down to the DisplayPort only cord and the nitpicky item that the resolution is lower than the Quest, even though the Quest is hands-free VR. In the end, I'm glad to have the Rift S in my house and look forward to showing VR to anyone that comes over.

For 6 months i had this, it was good for 4 months and then died on me. I took really good care of it too. Buy a different headset, save yourself $400.

We had to return this entire system because it was used, missing parts, and broken. It was not purchased as preowned, and obviously was.
