Best entry level PC headset
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid! Has issues with needing to be unplugged and plugged back in on startup but whatever. Everything else works great, great clarity for the price, best entry level PC headset imo, if you can find them still.

I might or might not have this on right now.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been pretty skeptical about buying a vr headset ever since they hit the market, mostly due to the complexity of having to set up cameras and basically dedicate an entire room for vr. When I found out this didn't require external cameras and all I had to do was move some light furniture around to make room I decided to bite the bullet. Let's just say I haven't looked back at the real world since.

No need to place sensors around the room!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from the Oculus Rift to the Rift S because there was no need for sensor placement around the room. Much more freedom and no one passing in front of the sensor messes up the view. Setting up the boundaries was 100% easier as well. I was worried the sound wouldn't be as good, but we found it to be just fine. I have 6 kids between the ages of 17-24 and they absolutely love it!

Worth the Setup Pain
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great! Had a heap of trouble setting it up, but after lots of tinkering about, now works like a charm. Absolutely love it. There are periodic times where I have to reset the headset though, but that's an easy fix.

Love it!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my husband for an early Christmas present, and we love it! It's easy to set up, use and adjust the settings needed to help you play. It's easy enough where my 5 year old can adjust and play with ease! The only downside is that the wristbands attached to the controllers do not stay snug on your wrists, so just be careful with them.

VR Headset with Touch Controllers
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I only gave 4 out 5 stars because it uses USB connected cameras ( sensors). Great selection of games at Oculus and Steam. The competition uses cameras that require an AC power no pc connection. When Quest came out I gave it 5 Stars.

Couldn't even activate it.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought Oculus Rift S for my sons birthday, was such dissapointmant. My sons gaming DELL is over qualified for this device and VR ready but does not have the display port input and unfortunately only way to connect OCULUS rift S to your computer is through the display port. We tried multiple convertors adaptors etc nothing worked and their customer service is not reachable. Be careful when you buy this device make sure its really compatible with your computer.

First VR headset
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this my son as a Christmas present. He loves the system, but he's having issues with some of the games he's purchased from Steam and Oculus not working with the system. Thankfully he's been able to get a refund for some of the games.

Wow, amazing VR set!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first foray into VR and I have to say I am genuinely impressed. I use this for working out and it has been a great tool for cardio with the large assortment of fitness games that push you to the limit. Personally, I love the boxing games on steam VR. Only issue is, sometimes the tracking is off but resetting it solves the issue. Overall I am very happy with the oculus rift s.

Fr is Amazing for beginners
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Vr was amazing when I first jumped into it the only problem I experienced when trying it on was that I have glasses and it was difficult at first but you CAN wear your glasses and the Headset at the same time so that’s good!

Clear Winner!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super clear image. Lightweight and comfortable to use. Easy to get in and out of. Slightly narrow field of view but otherwise a pretty great all-around VR headset.

Worth the money!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As an owner of the Oculus Rift, PSVR, Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift S, and Oculus Quest 2 - the Rift S is, hands down, my favorite VR headset to date. The improvements made from Rift to Rift S were just what it needed. Getting rid of the sensors and having the lens adjustment be a setting in the hardware rather than a slider with 3 settings were major improvments. The headset feels good atop your head, doesn't feel too heavy. The speakers, although not ideal, actually sound good if you don't want to wear a headset or use earbuds. The standard head strap makes using headsets a LITTLE difficult, but not impossible. I've gamed many times using the Astro A50 headset over the strap. The one con in this - is Facebook. Since Facebook owns Oculus, they are going to ruin such a good thing. And what I mean by this is, Facebook is now required to use anything on the Oculus Store. (Quest 2 is basically a paper weight unless you have facebook... Or brave enough to jailbreak it..) Bottom line. Being that the Rift S is going to be discontinued, Quest 2 takes its place, Facebook is the only downside. Research why its bad. If those don't affect you, don't hesitate to buy this or the Quest 2! Hope this helps someone.

great hardware, but bad software.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While the headset is pretty good and not having to mess with big and expensive base stations is nice, the crappy rift software has a lot of issues that are only now starting to get fixed.

good overall
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.overall a very good machine. performs well, but when switching from Oculus software to SteamVr there’s a big problem sometimes. causes the entire thing to lock down almost and it has to be unplugged or the pc restarted.

Great starter headset
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great starter headset if you are looking to get into VR and already have a pretty nice PC gaming rig. Make sure you test your PC before buying this. The controllers are really durable, and the headset is comfortable. The only bad part is facebook's intrusive software solution. However, if you use OTT (google it) it becomes less of nuisance.

Nice introductory VR experince!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice Upgrade from the first rift doing away with the external sensors! But that's about it for me. Its definitely worth getting as an inexpensive introduction to VR! If you are new to it, you will be blown away!
