Having the Inside-out tracking has made this perfect to bring over to friends houses. Letting other people try it is a blast. Even my 66 year old mommy got a kick out of this. I have no complaints with this devise whatsoever. Although I do have some complaints. 10/10 would purchase again I guess.

Kids love it. Was fairly easy to setup. I do recommend a good GPU, we use it with a 2080ti from NVIDIA. One of the controllers is acting up a bit, but nothing serious.

Better graphics is noticeably better. Headband adjustability is much improved. No sensors to worry about makes the Rift S far better than the original. Love the screen view for people to watch gameplay while it’s being used and also the earphones aren’t as flimsy. Very happy with this new set up. Much more durable feeling.

This did me just fine for the months till the Vice Cosmos came out. Spot on fun, I never had the screen door effect others complain of. Tracking cameras do a good job, seems better than the external cameras the rift came with. The foam around the face sucks, so make sure to order leather face pad.

One word for this headset. Wow. The Rift will literally take you anywhere you want to go. It feels so real you forget your life and completely immerse yourself in your game's surroundings. This headset is a game changer and is truly the best you can get for VR right now at $300.

The packaging was amazing! Super easy setup, plug in and download the software from the website and you are good to go. Has very fun tutorials to learn how to Use the system. I have a pc with a gtx 2080 i7 9700 32gb ram and it runs it no problem amazing graphics. I have wore this for at my longest 5 hours its super comfortable no strain on eyes and you can fit these with glasses on! The only real con i have with the system is not including some type of cloth to clean the lenses. I have no issues with it really ive had it for A bit and its been great. It has great speakers on the headset and the sound quality is amazing. and you can also connect headphones into the jack. And it also has a built in microphone. Another great thing is when u have them on you cannot see out of the corners or the bridge of the nose area, so you wont see light from your room or anything but you do need to have some type of Light on in your room for the sensors in the headset to read. You dont need the light to be super bright. Great product for the price! Would recommend this to any gamer who has never tried vr this blew my mind

Fun and interactive. I bought it for editing and it does not work with the program I use but will work with a program I will use in the future. Not a total loss because there is enough free content to keep someone busy. Have not found that "I have to have it game yet" selection of games are still kind of limited at this time. Accessories are limited as well. None are sold by Oculus or Best Buy and the ones sold on amazon are cheap looking. The head phone attachments look unfinished and they do not match at all. The hand grips were designed for other controllers "but will work mostly if shaved down some??" I would like to see the people making it produce quality accessories for this product.

I'm a disabled gamer with serious hand issues that make using a mouse and keyboard difficult at best for playing games. With a strap across the back of the hand on the oculus controllers to help me hold them I can play again!. I can also navigate my desktop with a touch. This is a godsend... Now.. its fun as heck to play with the vr. I keep bumping into my boundaries and I'll eventually make them larger.. but oh my god this set up is amazing. Even my steam games that aren't VR friendly I'm able to play with a nifty piece of software that allows me to 'port' them into the environment. So... in short I love my oculus and now I can step into my games and play them! I did have some issues with set up. My 6GB video card gave up the ghost right after attempting set up - and my USB 3.0 ports didn't supply enough power (even with an 850Wt power supply. So, I got a dedicated USB 3.0 card that plugged into my pci x 16 slot and I have been golden ever since!

We bought this for our son and he loves it. We have tried it out also, and it is a lot of fun! You really get into the play with this VR system. Only down side is that it has to be tethered to a computer, but we knew that going into the purchase. Make sure your computer is VR ready or it will not work.

Slightly higher resolution than the original. Just enough to make text more readable. Also significantly more comfortable to wear. I wear glasses and this headset is much easier to wear with glasses. I like the pass through functionality as well. Makes it easy to set up guardian, or grab something off the desk, etc.

Ive seen the "pros" critique this thing to pieces, and have come to the conclusion...they are just trying to make themselves look like they are "pros". This thing is fantastic. Graphics are a 10, sound is a 10. Fitment is an 8. The experience is amazing, one of the things everyone must try. Very much worth the price.

My son and I use this constantly. Audio is great on its own. But earbuds are a plus. Visuals are amazing and so much variety in games. Many are even free! Only downside is the hand controllers are a bit fragile. The circle part cracked after a fall from 4-5 feet onto carpet.

    Great Upgrade For Rift CV1

I purchased this to upgrade from my CV1 Oculus Rift. At first I was unsure of this purchase, but so far this has been a good upgrade. This headset does away with the sensors to reduce clutter. The head band is more comfortable and easier to adjust when other people want to to give the headset a shot. The controller battery covers could use slightly stronger magnets to keep them closed because they tend to come of with a small amount of force. The other downside of this headset is no mechanical IPD adjustment. The adjustment is handled digitally which means that some people may not be able to use this headset comfortably because of the shape of their face/head.

I bought this last year as a Christmas gift for my son. It has been great, he had been staying in a lot since he was taking virtual classes due to Covid-19. In a crazy way he got tons of exercise playing games on this thing. Not bad.

Easy install, very easy to use. Works well too. My only issue is that it froze on me once and I had to restart my PC to get it to work again. Maybe user error. Otherwise great and very durable

Going from a ps4 pro with psvr to a overly modest pc build with the rift s. Well this is what vr should be. I sim race and it really is a game changer. Super easy to use and setup is painless. Fits well and 90% comfortable:) Overall impressed

VR is fun. This headset works great. The controllers feel a bit fragile, but so far, they're holding up well. Can't wait to get back into flight sim's and first-person shooters using the Rift S. Not a fan of Facebook but this had kept me from canceling my account.

Wanted to become a millennial and squander whimsically. I ended up buying it and no regrats. Until a decent 4k/eye 144mhz VR headset comes along next month. Minimal screen door compared to phones, dropped 3? times already and still working. Controllers used AA batteries so invest on rechargeable.

Exceeded my expectations! I was looking into purchasing another brand running nearly 3 times the price I paid for for this as i was concerned that this item would not perform as well due to the much lower price. But you can rest assured that this brand and model does not skimp in the product build and materials areas nor does it lack anywhere else. The running software build is simple to use for the average gamer, not bloated or overly complex simple yet very polished and well put together. Overall a great value for the advanced tech your getting. The head set was quite comfortable and felt very light like a thick ball cap. Not heavy or constricting and I never experienced any strain or fatigue on my head, eyes or neck. Also I never had an eventual motion sickness that one tends to develope during prolonged periods of use. Very happy with this purchase. Would recommend to friends and family. Also a great gift for some lucky person.
