Was a great product until it broke after a couple of months i got a replacement and it works perfectly

I finally bought a gaming PC and am more than able to run VR. So I decided to jump on the new Rift S and am loving it so far!! I've used the first Rift, Gear VR & PSVR, and the Rift S is BY FAR the best one yet! There are some odd glitches with getting use to the remotes, but otherwise it's unreal!

Absolutely worth it! Not a huge fan of being forced to create an oculus account just to use them, but other than that i have zero issue with this thing! Very comfortable to wear, even with glasses, and picture quality is great too! Much better than my PSVR in both regards. The built in speakers do an amazing job of surround sound without having to wear a headset or earbuds, and you can still hear someone talking to you, or the phone, in teh background if you need to. Controllers are very lightweight, and incredibly responsive. They can even tell/show you where your fingers are on the controller, even without actually pressing down on the buttons. Connection is through a single cord, and requires no external sensor stations to be mounted around your room. Being able to hold the Home button and have your view switch to external cameras so you can see where you are is a very nice feature.

VR gaming is really the next step in the gaming world. I played Superhot as my first game and I had a blast. I cannot wait to expand my library and have more to do on here. Cable is a good length and the head set is nice. I have a large head and this fits me great.

Bought this for my grandson for a great year of good grades. Finally a VR at a reasonable price. He loves it. First night he had a friend over and I could hear how much they enjoyed it. I tried it too and it was something I have never seen. Now all his friends want to too. So glad we got this for him.

The headset itself has improved. There is not a ton of straps and no sensors. It does have the best optical Len's as promised. I really don't care if it is made by Lenovo. Lenovo makes great products. The headset has a lot of headroom and I really don't mind the speakers. The setup is really easy!

I myself cannot enjoy this device as I get motion sickness easily ;( But my kids and all their friends love it! Very easy to use and hook up to the computer we even purchased the adapter so we could use it with our laptop

This is my first VR headset. The resolution is low, but it's good for what it is. I'll probably get a more advanced headset for my next one, but for a beginner this one is pretty good.

Headset is comfortable even after hours of play, but does fog up if you are playing a vigorous game, speakers aren’t great but is has a headphone jack to add your own, mini-display adapter is a bit chunky so I would recommend buying your own, resolution is amazing.

There are mixed opinions about whether or not it is worth purchasing this if you have the original Rift. My opinion, if you can sell the original Rift and recoup some of the money, yes it is. Screen door effect is definitely less noticeable and the fact that there are no sensors is a plus.

The resolution is better than the original Oculus Rift, and it makes a noticeable difference on the games I've been playing. Not quite to the level of a really good monitor in front of you, but it's getting closer. Not needing the external sensors/camera is a great improvement as well.

My review is based so far on compatibility, since our daughters gaming laptop was NOT compatible with this headset. We had to actually buy another gaming computer so our daughters gift that she’s asked for 2 years could be used. So now we’re waiting for her desktop to arrive so she can use her xmas gift. Seems like a pricey headset should be compatible with any gaming laptop/desktop. We weren’t planning on having to buy a new computer just to use her gift.

I resisted making the jump to Virtual Reality gaming, but after trying this I'm glad I did. If you like video games you will love them in VR. The resolution of the goggles is incredible, and the controls work very well after you get used to them.

This thing is amazing. I’m able To keep in shape, visit strange worlds, get away from my family, Rockwall mean it’s endless. I have already recommended it to all my friends. In this time of not being able to do much, Oculus lets me venture out.

My son loves the Oculus. He wanted the Valve Index but he's 13 and careless sometimes and I couldn't see paying that much. This one had just dropped $100 and was worth the money. He plays it everyday. He gets alot of exercise with it.

This was the first time ever for me purchasing and using any VR technology and I am very impressed. It was super easy to set up and start using. Make sure you have a strong enough computer to run some of the high end games like Half Life Alyx.

Almost no screen door effect then cv1, better color range. I prefer the built in headphones which are not meant to sound the best because when friends play it's much easier to communicate and when I use it I can plug in any headset I want.

I bought this for my Younger sister because she has my old CV1 rift. She is really loving it because she doesn't need to setup sensors to track the headset. Very easy to setup and eqsy to use. Lucky, I bought it on the 100 dollar off sales.

Pros so far: - Display is better looking that the original Rift. - The slight drop in refresh rate hasn't been noticeable at all for me at least. - Out of box face pad is much more comfortable. - Inside out Tracking is great so far. (still need to mess with it more but haven't had any issues. - Throwing items in VR feels much more normal then the original Rfit. (I've noticed that the old method I used of pushing items to throw doesn't often work but a normal throwing motion seems to work great.... I tried this a lot in Super Hot. - (Update 5/24/19) Built in speakers - While not perfect for someone casually playing the built in speakers work well enough to play most games without issue. It sounds like its almost not playing anything for someone outside the headset but for the wearer it perfectly audible. Lacks good base though.

I bought these as a gift to myself and they are awesome! I love how realistic things look. I use this for gaming and for mynwork as an architect. It is an excellent design tool. I am able to walk through building I am designing to get a feel for the real spaces. Well worth it.
