    Hard to connect

I unfortunately had to return the item because the only way to connect this is with a display port on a computer. Heads up, ALOT of computers now a days don’t have display ports. Unless you have a very expensive gaming desktop. I was sad that I had to return it, but good news is that the new Oculus comes out now in October and you don’t need any computer connections!

Everything works perfectly, been wanting this because of beatsaber. Though the battery life on the controller is pretty fast draining, but considering that it is wireless it makes sense.

Only complaint is the controllers turn on and die as you are just using your pc and not the vr games are so fun and it’s super easy to hook up. I see a lot of complaints about the speakers I have no problem with them

The headset itself is great. The biggest issues have been on the software side of things, which has improved through updates though, and is to be expected with any first generation product/new hardware.

This is my first VR headset and experience with one. No matter which of these you get, you will have a good time but you'll be limited on your VR experience if you don't get this one so you can play on Steam too!

I really enjoy the Oculus Rift S PC. I did a pick up, and it went smoothly. The product was fun and works great and I did not have to go in the store to pick it up, they came to my car.

This was purchased as a gift for our teen. It's probably a great VR headset, however we don't know. Word of advice, make sure your pc/ laptop is compatible as this system requires a display port connection. His gaming laptop doesn't have this and all adapters we tried ( hdmi, type c) do not work. The headset seemed very sturdy and well designed.

it is good product. This one is much better than other VR headset I tried before. But the performance depends on your computer. If you have a good computer, you will have a really good experience with this VR.

First VR headset and its great. Downloaded Oculus software and connected to FB account. Took a few days for the app to recognize my headset but was still able to use it during that time. Downloaded Steam VR and can play VR games from that library too. Only downside is that the Oculus Quest library seems to have more stuff and you can't get it on Rift S. They said its coming but who knows. :( Kinda makes me wish I bought the Quest 2

Got it as my first Computer act headset and it works great, I haven’t had any issues so far and the build for the actual headset feels great. The controllers are a little subpar compared to the headset but they still feel great and like a quality product. The coolest thing is that I don’t need to strictly use a pc, a powerful enough laptop will work just fine as long as you have a display port or a compatible thunderbolt port.

I have this setup in a 200sqft area with a caribener wire drop, tracking is really good, some software tweaking to keep tracking going is required, but service restarts aren't bad, great product, built well

Always wanted a VR headset, but either the price, my glasses, or the setup requirement dissuaded me. The Rift S has solved all of those issues. It fits comfortably over my glasses, allowing to enjoy the full VR experience. There is no need to setup external tracking cameras, so setup was super easy. As for the price, can't complain. Less than half the price of any of the other headsets. I haven't had any issue using this headset. Tracking of the controls has been great and the video is excellent quality. It doesn't suffer from the "screen door" effect that 1st Gen VR headsets has.

These things are a blast. Works great and much better screen than the original. Love that there are no sensors to setup. At this price point it is definitely worth getting.

This will deliver PC-level VR gaming without the hassle of setting up external sensors. Not the best in the industry but definitely not the worst either. Best value you can get at the price point.

Purchased this and have so far been very happy with it. There we some reliability issues, though those seem to have been fixed with recent updated. If this is still around $400 however, it may be worth one's time to look at the Oculus Quest instead. While it is still a lighter headset, the Quest seems to have more support and options for play. I do not regret my purchase, but its important to be aware of what else one can get for the same price.
