This is so much better then i expected it to be. It is a lot of fun. Some pretty fun games especially Skyrim. Walking around with real size people is pretty fun and it makes the fighting even more fun.

Rift is an exceptional vR experience from oculus. Since it’s powered with your PC, the possibilities are endless in terms of graphics and the worlds created in which you can immerse yourself in.

When I got the Rift S I couldn't believe I never got VR before! I was amazed! I bought it only to play the new Half Life Alyx game. I soon realize how amazing VR is and bought so many other games on the Oculus store. But after a few weeks I noticed the USB would fail every time I started the computer and I would have to restart it over and over to get it to work. I found many complaints about my same issue online. Oculus has known of this problem for more than 6 months and they have not fixed it yet. Now I am lucky if I can get it to work when I want it to. I have read that the Oculus Quest has gotten regular updates and fixes since its release but not the Rift S. As much as I love the VR experience I cannot recommend any of the Oculus products. If company wont stand behind all there products I wont buy any of them.

I started with vr on my phone, moved up to oculus go, and now this unit. I love the graphics and game play, just wish the games were a bit less expensive. There are darned few "free" games available.

So far so great imo. I personally don't have any issues with the headset itself. It works just fine, but it's not perfect. I do agree with some of the criticism that you might have heard or read in other reviews, but it's not a huge issue for me. The app only wants to install on my m.2 ssd. I wish it didn't because my game library is on another drive and I wanted it all to be installed on the same drive. Having to now sign in with Facebook to use the social features on the app is kinda lame but whatever. Oculus rift s and quest are the best value on buying your first vr headset. I'll update the review once I spend more time with headset or if any problems arises due to build or software related.

This product is 100% worth the money. If you want an AMAZING VR experience without paying over 600$ this is perfect. All the games are perfect and I don’t think I’ve had a better one with video games.

Up grading to the new one great item the vr buy the warranty it’s worth it

Screen door effect is very minimal for the price. Runs very well with my GTX1070 and i7700K.

wow this was back ordered forever but if my sons happiness is an indication it was worth the wait. He is so happy with this product. He says it's leaps and bounds better then Playstation vr

I could not say enough good things about the Oculus Rift S. This headset is so much more convenient to use than the previous one. Just be sure to use it and a well lit area. The 360 motion tracking cameras don't do well in low light. You will also need a computer with a Nvidia GTX 970 or better graphics card to use this. You will also need an available display port. If you're using it with a gaming laptop you'll be happy to know it comes with a display port to mini display port adapter. All in all this is a great product and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get started in VR. I wouldn't recommend upgrading if you already have the previous Oculus Rift. It's not a dramatic difference between the two.

My son loves this thing. He has hada bunch of friends try it out and they are amazed by it also. I played a little bit of a game and it really was a little of fun and was very immersive.

I had been looking for a VR headset for a while and once I saved up enough It was either this or the Vive, I would say 100% this. You get Amazing exclusives such as Robo recall and get all the games you can for a vive because steam VR is supported. Also you don’t need a insane pc for this to look great and I don’t notice the 80 Hz compared to 90 when I tried other products. This product is great. Only reason I gave this a 4 is because there is no manual IPD slider.

This is great starter vr set but I think its discontinued soon.. loved my set when I had it and definitely think its worth the price.. it just got discounted I think.. anyways A+

Got this for Sim-Racing. Completely changed how I’m able to drive, and the immersion is incredible. Very responsive and there are no extras to set up besides the software.

Better than I expected. I’ve wanted to own an oculus rift for years and finally managed to purchase one, and it definitely lives up to all of my expectations and more. I don’t have a huge amount of free space to play in but can play the majority of games perfectly fine. It took about four sessions to get used to moving around and avoiding motion sickness. One issue I ran into was my controller glitching and losing track of where my hand actually was. Turns out it’s because I had LED strip lights on. Turned them off and used a normal lamp and everything was fine. Make sure you’re aware of that, but other than that, I haven’t had any problems

The Oculus Rift S, is my first virtual reality headset and I will have to say it was a blast using this headset. The Oculus Rift S is a fantastic headset which allow you to immerse yourself into gaming.

A great and inexpensive way to get into VR. Highly recommend it for newcomers to VR.

This thing is awesome! This is my first exoerience with VR. So cool. Easy to hook up. Had some issues with connectivity. All got resolved. Seems to be constructed well with quality components.

I had the Oculus Rift, that came with the 2 external sensors, and that's the only part I miss. With this Rift S sometimes it loses where your hands/controllers are. But by far this is great fun
