Very pleased with the Rift S after using the Rift CV1 for 2 years. Set up is a breeze No more wall sensors and multiple cables. The headset design is more comfortable during long wear. Resolution is much improved in DCS and iL 2 which are my primary uses. The "screen effect" is hardly noticable. The cockpit instruments are much clearer. For other VR games, I dont see a huge improvement but certainly enough to justify the $400 price of the S.

Great VR headset! Had no issues until I decided to extend the length of the cords. You would need to get a video signal booster/repeater if you want to extend the cords.

This is an amazing VR Headset. Setup was easy and the tutorial was very helpful on learning the system. I highly recommend this system for a great gaming experience.

didnt realize how far vr had gotten in last few years. used a rift at a friends and needless to say built a computer and baught a rift s less than a month later

I play ' no man's sky'. I now question reality .Everytime I see my hands, I pause and look around like my first time in VR...you don't realize how often you see your hands

We bought this as a gift and they were extremely happy with the VR! It has great graphics, sound and can connect to almost any computer with the right memory space!

Bought this for my grandson he loves it!! Love the games he bought for it. I cant get him to stop playing. Would definitely say it was a great buy after seeing him have all this fun.

Great VR headset! Setup is really simple and controls are easy to understand. I had to find the perfect adjustments so the visual would be clear but overall, its perfect!

Love the Rift S. Literally no problems with it at all so far,it's comfortable, immersive, and I could play it all day. My one wish is that the cord was a little bit longer.

Out of all the vr headsets i have tried this one is the most comfortable and the best I've used so far. I definitely recommend this over the oculus quest if you have a pc that can handle vr

Rift S - If you don't want games crashing, lagging, being unstable, unplayable, just because you got the link cord doesn't mean you can fully support rift s games. It's basically giving you access but the quest can not really handle it. Quest - If you buy a quest you're getting it because you're planning to take it places. Allowing family to play it, Allowing friends to play, allowing kids to play. But you will be very limited on games where it becomes rather boring. It's cool that it can link up to rift games and it has the hands free tracking. I personally would say buy both and see which one you perfer.

Everything is build in and easy to set up, better screen display then quest

My first VR headset and it works perfect! No bay stations required and make sure to have room to use! Be aware that long use will result in sweat or nose feeling sore

We got the Oculus Rift & have been using the free games! There are a lot of them! Love the Google Maps! The only thing I don’t like about it is that it’s not compatible with my laptop.

Definitely prefer the controllers of the Vive, but this is a really good system. I bought it mainly for Beat Saber, but I love the Google Earth addition and the "home" that it gives me to customize. Even the tutorial was fun and entertaining. I'm used to them being really boring, but this was actually enjoyable. No need for extra sensors which is also nice. Definitely would recommend.

VR has come a long way, this is an excellent headset and is the perfect choice if you’re looking to only every use VR near your dedicated PC setup. It is light and easy on the head so you’ll be able to wear this for extended hours. If you are looking for much more versatility with where you can enjoy VR experiences then the Quest mode may be the better choice, though it is much more uncomfortable for extended use.
