Best PC VR Yet
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve owned and used multiple VR systems. If you have the PC to power it, the Rift S is the obvious choice unless you want to spend twice as much for something like the Index.

Better than Oculus Quest
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Okay, it's slightly lower resolution and requires a gaming PC. But the lightweight, comfortable design is a huge benefit over the Quest, as well as the higher refresh rate and ZERO latency when running off the PC compared to Oculus Link w/ Quest. If you are debating this vs Quest, GET THIS INSTEAD. Just make sure to get a good pair of earphones because the audio is lacking bass.

Easy setup!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best vr headset for people who have a pc, but doesn’t want the setup of the lighthouse tracking. You just need to plug it in and get the app. Great headset yet again!

Next level Entertainment!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a game changer. Make sure your PC has the components to push the graphics settings to keep FPS up. This is for the Oculus Rift. Teaching simulators are the bomb.

Great if you want to experience VR
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good for the price, though it made me motion sick so I had to return

A great "experience"
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was my first time testing VR. And the sensation was incredible. but in reality after some use you realize that all games are just puzzles games. If you are looking for deeper experiences I recommend you wait for this technology to advance. In reference to the product itself. The quality is pretty good and the installation I would say it's easy. but Don't buy this for a child. it can break easily.

Lots of fun
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a lot of fun, easy to operate oh, and the whole family loves it. You need a pretty good computer to run it from though, I'm not sure about gaming consoles

Excelent
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this for my son's birthday. Would recommend making sure your computer is capable of connecting. Mine didn't have the display port needed.

to many changes
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great resolution, everything else is a down grade from the first rift. If your trying to upgrade from the first rift the only thing your getting in better res. No headphones-plug your own in controllers don't pick up most of the time, doesn't start right most of the time. In other words keep your original until rift 2 comes out.

An amazing experience!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I owned the original rift and loved how well it worked but setup was a pain! All that is fixed now with the rift s. Just throw on the headset and go! No more cameras to setup and aim. Started playing in minutes instead of an hour or two. I also love the camera pass through when you go out of bounds so you can see the objects around you. The new display is stunning. My only complaint is the built in speakers. They aren’t immersive at all. But it does have a headphone jack on the headset. I use my plantronics noise cancelling and boom I’m on another planet. All and all I would high recommend. A++

More comfortable than Quest, wire is an annoyance
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. However they've updated all the issues that happened at launch. I originally bought this and returned cause the image was flickering. This no longer happens anymore. It used to hurt me but found a way to adjust this. So much lighter than the Quest. Make sure to buy a wire rig that hooks to your wall, they're about 15 dollars and work incredibly for getting the wire out of the way. Even with Oculus Link coming out, this is a superb purchase and you won't regret buying this. Clarity and tracking are really fantastic for the price. And the lower refresh rate does not bother me. Highly consider it!

Leap forward in VR headsets
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This new generation of Oculus VR headsets is best in class. They are so much easier to set up and use, without the need for room sensors. Incredibly fun and immersive.

Oculus Rift S ROCKS!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had originally looked into purchasing the Oculus Rift and loved the trial experience at Bust Buy with the Oculus rep. I couldn't make the purchase the as I was waiting to have some finance things taken care, Then the price went down and shortly after the Oculus Rift S was announced. I read the promotional info and am so happy I waited to make the purchase. The 'S' ROCKS! There are no external motion sensors as they are located in the headset. This allows for a more functional play space. I have been into 3D gaming for over 20 years and must say, this system is the best thus far. So happy with the purchase.

Hate and love.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don’t know what to think or feel. This is an amazing product, but with lots of flaws and an almost inexistant tech support. Also, be warned that you really need the machine to handle VR games (which I have... and more). If you have less that the requirements, forget it. So, I love this headset, then I hate it. It’s so impressive, but also frustrating. The fact that we can’t do any adjustment to brightness (for example), and that the IPD is limited will give you headaches (and not the virtual ones). Been exchanging emails with tech support, and trying to find solution on my own regarding a few issues that many people have mentioned (please see other reviews), and I’m about to just give up. Not sure if I want to return the product, exchange it for the Quest 2, or keep it. But since I just got it a couple of weeks ago, I will take a few more days to decide. I guess that if I should have done my homework and read the reviews before buying this headset. Yet, it’s still a pretty cool device.
