Not Being Fully aware of these products and the descriptions are not fully disclosing. The Rift Does have to be plugged into a computer to be used. With that being a problem I was not able to use this because we only own lap tops and they did not have the proper connections we needed. There is a 10-15 ft cord that is always attached to the Rift S unit. I returned this unit and got the Oculus Quest 2, I am very impressed with the quality. Be Prepared when you receive it that the directions are very minimal, they don't explain much until you get power and an account set up. Do your research with what is available and understand what you are purchasing. The games are priced very similar to other gamming systems, but they do offer some fun free stuff to get started and have a lot of options for all ages in a family.

I am very pleased with this purchase. This thing is awesome and it was very easy set up and connections. Great for my whole family.

I bought the rift for my kids and they all love it. Especially being stuck at home as much as they have lately.

The oculus is an amazing system, however the high cost of entry to pc vr is not necessarily worth it. You are locked at about 60 fov and it is not as immersive as you’d expect. There is not currently many amazing vr games besides possibly beat saber, most games are more like small “experiences”. I would suggest holding off for now.

Visuals are clean, oculus has an auto setting mode to ensure every game is plug and play, controllers are top notch.

I’ve discovered new ways to workout and sweat without feeling like I’m working out. I’ve also discovered how easily I get motion sickness trying to play some of the games... they are rather realistic feeling! Bought this for the entire family to enjoy and so far everyone is enjoying it, it’s everything we thought it would be. Only negative is the cord, but we knew that when purchasing it. If we need to be tethered with a cord, I’d prefer a much longer cord than what comes with the headset.

Easy set up. Only one small issue on installation (install as administrator). After that it was easy to install and play.

I started out with a Quest, but exchanged for the Rift S. This headset is comfortable and preforms well on a mid-range PC.

This headset is great for budget gaming and not having to pay thousands of dollars for just some simple Virtual reality headset.

It's easy to use but sometimes gives me black screen (which usually gets resolved by resetting the device). looking for an adapter for the gaming laptop was a hassle though. I was only able to use it after I got a new gaming laptop.

My daughter had to have one after her older sister got one for Christmas. It is easily set and quick to start using.

Probably the best VR set out there, It may be pricey but well worth the value. Hopefully more games will release in the future.

Gift for son who had us try it out. What amazing technology. Easy to use and one can travel the world in a different reality.

This is a great gaming system! Easy to operate and learn how to operate. Some games are a little pricey.
