A really solid headset with a few issues

The built in speakers are a joke, and it's not as comfortable for people with glasses compared to others units out there like PSVR.

Buy Quest 2 over this

There have been other advances and you should definitely get the Quest 2 over this. Oculus is a great introduction to VR. The HP Reverb 2 is a better option if you have the PC power though.

Oculus Rift

I bought this for my grandson, I want him to enjoy it but I limit his play time to 30 minutes because I worry about any physical and mental effects it could have. I play the games and watch the videos to see the effects they have on me and there are effects like neck soreness and headaches, so just be cautious with the play time with younger children.

BestBuy.com was one of the few stores that got this in stock, although only for a short period of time; pleased to have found it available at BB in early August 2020. Ordered on-line for local store pick-up; BB delivered on time with a smooth and safe transaction.

The idea is good but it is glitchy.

You can’t save games on external hard drive so only a few games can be put on your computer or it can’t update than it won’t work.
