We went with the Rift S over the Quest as this has the ability to play all titles. Really fun, family loves it. The headset is comfortable and adjustable, the controllers are light and precise. All in all, very happy to get this product. I just wish everywhere wasn't sold out so my friends could get one as well.

The sound is pretty much unacceptable but with a good sound system or headphones it doesn't matter. I'll never go back to 2d for sim racing ever again. Lol.

I always wanted to experience VR and this headset being discontinued allowed me to afford it. It worked great with my VR ready computer, and it worked so well I wonder why anyone would prefer a standalone when it cannot compare to a hot VR ready computer.

I love my Oculus Rift S! I haven't noticed any problems with the display. You do have to play with the lights on. The little sensors on the side can't see the controllers very well without it. You can put your hands behind you but not very well. The controllers are very responsive though!

One of the worst headsets I have ever used. Right out of the box I had issues with the controllers connecting to the headset. I had to uninstall the oculus software twice. After that the headset had multiple issues that would flare up at random, Either turning off at random, Bugging out after taking off the headset, Sound cracking, Mic not working. Certain usb ports working over others, Infinite loading screen, Hands bugging out, Ect, the list go's on. And don't think Oculus Support will help you either all they give is a generic response. Currently i'm stuck with this headset, And I will admit I enjoy using it because the headset itself is good, Its hardware and the Oculus program is the problem an for the amount of hassle you need to go through to get it to work is tiresome and somedays I end up not even wanting to play. If you don't believe me just go look on there forums or the reddit, Countless people are having issues and this is not limited to a select few. I run high end pc and should have none, And mean none of these issues but again Oculus/Facebook and there laziness have cause these issues and they have been going since the launch of the headset. Save your money and don't make the same mistake as me. Buy the Index or Vive either one is better choice then the Oculus Rift S. Personally I will never in life buy another product from Oculus or Facebook.

When this headset first launched there were a few issues, but these have all been fixed now and the headset is great - a nice step up from the original rift in all ways except for sound (which is pretty easy to fix with headphones) Overall I'm really pleased!

Works very well and and does not require cameras set up in the room because they are built into the headset itself. It also has a guardian feature where you set boundaries and if you get to close to an object, it will show up to alert you that you are too close to something so you don't injure yourself or break something.

Oculus put huge amounts of work into the original Rift’s industrial design, creating a headset that was distinctive and almost elegant. The Rift S seems purely utilitarian — it looks like a clunky, anxious robot with a giant forehead. If consumers aren’t its primary market, though, that decision makes perfect sense.

Loved the product one of the coolest things I own.

Make certain you have an adapter for your computer. We had nothing but trouble finding one to fit our "Occulus ready" Acer laptop. Ended up having to buy a new desktop just to use the VR headset. We've only used it about 6 times so far, so I'm not sure on how it will hold up with my 9 and 12 year olds.

The Rifts S is a awesome headset it tracks my motions perfectly and the clarity in the headset a huge plus. It would be 5 star but I did have some problems once with the Oculus software detecting my headset.
