Got for my kid - 15 yr old boy. He and brother come downstairs sweating after using it, which means they're actively moving around. Requires a tether to the computer (HDMI and USB) and a good graphics card.

Great and cheap way to get into vr only downside is the wires gets in the way some times

First purchase to dip my feet into the VR scene and it was well worth it. Super fun and entertaining to use. Guaranteed to make anyone have a good time within a couple of minutes of trying all the possible quirks and gimmicks.

Great price to performance, has some minor connectivity issues and the screen resolution could be better but overall it's great for the price

This is by no means meant to be a review for everyone. If you are somewhat into vr or are just dipping your feet in the water, this is a decent start. But if your like me who is avid in vr and plays for a good amount almost daily, stay away. The tracking is very much a gamble, some days it tracks perfectly with no to few problems, other days it's so far off you can't play the easiest levels of Beat Saber. While the headset's only 2 problems are the bad mic quality and in my opinion the lack of good speakers, the controllers need a lot of work. I have rather large hands so they don't fit in my hands very well. The strap around the wrist is also far inferior to straps such as the valve controllers, which yes that is a much more expensive headset, but the strap around the back of the hand is so much more secure. I ended up buying straps like that for these controllers, but because of the shape of the controllers, they rubbed against my hand and caused many blisters. Finally the quality all in all is cheap, the slightest tap make the shells shift and move around. Yes, this might just be me being picky, and this headset might not have been intended for someone who plays these games where it requires you to move at close to the speed of light. But for what I enjoy doing in vr, I was very disappointed in the results I got.

I love my new Oculus. It is comfortable, easy to set up, and looks great. I have already put in so much use and plan to use it much more.

It's wonderful for my first VR experience. I will say the comfort is a little lacking around the cheekbone. It is very glasses friendly too.

After the recent upgrade of having the cameras built in I decided to take the leap into VR. It is fantastic! Vader’s Immortal is a must have if you’re a Star Wars fan. New content/games seem to be released almost weekly. Excited to see where VR continues to go!

This thing was ridiculously fun to use, I definitely got my money's worth. It's a shame they're discontinuing it cause for a budget, PC powered VR headset, this one is fantastic and amazingly light weight for long term use.

Cheap way into pc vr 100 percent worth the tag. It does require full reset almost everytime I use it tho which can get annoying

Just like the Quest, you can look outside your session with the cameras. It's an IR view at a creepy low resolution, and it's great! My only nitpick is I have to keep setting it up. Probably has to do with my son's Quest and it picking up his remotes too.

The HMD kind of feels cheap in the hand. The mic and speakers both suck. But the over all experience is loads of fun and at the price you cant beat it.

We bought this exactly a year ago. Within 4 months one of the controllers quit working. Now it shuts down randomly whenever it wants to. Tried multiple times to contact oculus, they always respond telling you to do something and when that doesn't work they say download this or that oh you did it wrong do it like this etc. In the end its just words to keep pushing you off on another agent.

I experienced the Void in Texas and had to see what the home version was like. So far I have been enjoying every game and demo. Today the Vadar game came out for the Rift-S and OMG is it amazing. Just make sure your PC meets the minimum requirements and you set.

The Oculus is great hardware wise. But it updates a lot. As long as you have automatic updates on then they shouldn't get in the way of gaming!

Still has way to much screen door effect.If you have the original then there is no need to buy this rift s version.

This has been out for a while, but I only recently got mine at the beginning of the year. Works very well. Super comfortable as well. It's a great entry into the VR world if you can't afford the $1k for a Valve Index or the wait time.

Great product, super fun and entertaining! I hope Facebook continues to support it over the next few years instead of just the quest.

This VR headset is definitely like being in the middle of the action. I highly recommend it. The optics are so real it makes this an extremely fun time!

I really wanted to use this, and I am sure it's a great product if you can use it. However, my laptop is not compatible with the Rift S. MY reason for a 2 star is the lack of notification when purchasing the product. I wish there was an upfront disclaimer addressing that you need a PC that is Oculus compliant. Therefore, I have to return it.
