While the product appeared to be of great value, we were not aware of the needed, very specific PC requirements. While we just purchased a branded new gaming PC only 6 month ago, and figure it would have what was needed, it was not compatible for this Oculus. And to upgrade the PC would have cost more money then what was spend on the Oculus-Rift. So we returned it / replaced it with an Oculus Quest 2.

Bought this for my brother and he loved it! He had so much fun using it! However, if you get motion sickness easily beware. This can make you nauseous. But other than that, it's a great buy!

I’m using a i7-9750, rtx2060, and 16gb of ram. Completely smooth. I can get games from oculus or steam. Setup was a breeze. I looked at the quest with link and it just wasn’t as good.

First week or two...AWESOME. Then we started having a few issues with the mic that got steadily worse and more consistent. Then the headset stopped working completely. We reset it as per instructions from Oculus, which worked for a few weeks...mostly. Now it stopped working again less than a month later. Bottom line...we've had it two months and I'm glad I bought the warranty. I'm taking it back tonight.

I bought this as an update to my Oculus GO. It is nicer since it has the touch controllers and the graphic quality is a little better but not as much better than I had hoped it would be. It does have some problems running apps for STEAMVR. Some don't register correctly and some won't start but more work than don't so maybe with updates issues will be adressed. I'm glad to have it and will keep it but I think it should've been a bit better than it is.

Love the Oculus, but when I purchased the Rift S. Oculus stated they were discontinuing the wired set. which was upsetting. since I couldn't return it for the quest.

After using some of the cheaper alternatives, I was wary of the quality of the gameplay. But the technology here is so much better than those lower quality or phone based systems and you really feel like you're in the scene.

I use this for my flight simulator. I also use it for watching videos of riding on an ATV. It has been great for both of these.

My son wanted a VR set, this is what he chose and very excited about it. We've had it for a couple weeks and he loves it.

We use ours for game night when the kids aren't hogging it. Everyone loves it, definitely make sure you have room to move about. This can get crazy ha. Hooking up was a little confusing but using it was easy once you did it.

Unfortunately I had to return my Oculus Rift S. This product only works with a specific adapter which meant that it would not work with my Alienware Laptop. When contacting support I was directed to buy a new computer. Definitely not something one needs to hear from a customer support agent who clearly didn't care.

The rift is great if you have a Pc to run it. If not get the quest, it’s basically a rift with a Nintendo switch build in! Just know if your playing steam games to go through the settings to enable 3rd party to work with oculus.

Our computer has a GTX 970 graphics card, so I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing. However, It runs great! So far we have played Beat Saber, Moss, Superhot, Job Simulator, and Gorn with no problems at all. Highly recommended!

I bought this VR headset since I have a 2070 super as my graphics card on my computer. I have tried Superhot, Blade and Sorcery, and Boneworks which all have run very smoothly without causing dizziness on this headset.

This headset has a pretty bad mic but aside from that the sound is very decent the tracking is incredibly accurate. I do occasionally get stutters and have it shake a bit but i think that's mainly from my PC loading.

You thought vr was a neat idea until you play the entire Shrek movie in Beatsaber. You will sweat heavily from places you didn't know sweat and you will lover every second. Facebook required does suck though.

Bought this for my son for Christmas. He has not yet received it, but it looks well made, and I am excited for him to open it on Christmas Morning. From the other reviews I have read, I think he will love it.

The headset adjustments are a major improvement over the original Rift. The only think we'd like to have seen is a leather option instead of the foam around the glasses. The concern is that the foam will break down after many, many uses.

Great display, works great, the only downside is that I was forced to make a Facebook account.

Hardware wise, this headset is solid. I gave it three stars because of Facebook’s changes with oculus accounts, now requiring a Facebook account to be used. If your Facebook account gets banned, you lose all your games now. This is a bad decision, and I will not be buying another oculus headset in the future.
