This is a good cheaper alternative if comparing the the HTC Vive. Main difference is durability of the headset. Other than that, from personal experience there’s no noticeable difference in performance in all aspects.

If looking for an Oculus that requires a PC to use this is the system for you. It works great out of the box as long as the computer has a powerful enough processor and the USB-C input.

Wasn't the biggest fan. Everyone is going to have a different experience with this headset and unfortunately mine wasn't a good one. Couldn't get past the blurriness that kept happening when looking around and was just really hard to get it in focus period. Will be sitting on the VR sideline until someone comes out with a better product at an affordable price.

It’s a good VR headset for people getting into VR but I would upgrade to a better headset just for the better tracking.

bought this to upgrade my original rift to the rift s. less cables to manage and i dont have to worry about setting up cameras anymore. i can just put the headset on and start my vr adventures

Affordable and interesting features like see thru lens. And custom desktops. Quality not as great as vive

Arrived on time and I think this is the best time to get a into VR . I was shocked and amazed by the oculus rift S. I’m 39 and this made me feel like a teenager again it’s that groundbreaking.

One of the reasons I stayed away from the original oculus rift was that I needed to install sensors on my wall but with the rift s that is not needed and overall works amazing with the cameras built into the headset

Oculus Rift S VR Gaming headset is great for PCVR. It required powered USB 3.0 hub to work, but once I plug to hub, everything worked without any issues. Also requires Display Port (DP) at graphics card.

This VR headset has been great. Had issues with the sensors at first. Allowed for beta updates, which fixed the sensor issues. Has a large amount of free games.

Overall a great headset. Two of my favorite features are the oculus home and the IR cameras so you don't have to mount sensors to your walls. Only think I would like is for the black images to be darker.

Great device, but the Meta stuff is... annoying as all get out.

Great headset for a starter VR. Kind of wished the cable was a little longer instead of just 5 meters.

This VR gaming product is so real it's absolutely amazing! We also ended up buying the steering wheel and clutch etc., which makes the driving even more amazing! This is a must purchase for tons of VR fun!

When I bought my Rift S I thought it was super cool, first few days it worked completely fine, I was having a good time and it was super cool. flash forward to august 17th, 4 days after my return by date it got an update that makes it actual hot garbage it will crash every minute. steamvr is completely unsupported, it worked fine, until this last update. the support team is terrible in my experience, I told them my specific problem and that ive tried every solution on their website, they just said to do it again. i told them i have one graphics card in my PC, they sent me a thing saying "make sure youre not using sli/crossfire" cool, thanks. moral of the story, the headset hardware is perfectly fine, the software has no other options and is on par with trying to run minecraft with a 1997 office computer.

It's a great product I had psvr before this and it is a lot better and I like that the controllers take batteries so if they die you just put in new ones instead of waiting for them to charge

I'm just simply blown away with every aspect of this product. Well worth every penny! If i was forced to say something bad, i guess it could use a little better padding on the bottom. Even that is not bad.

This is amazing, but my eyes hurt for weeks after using this for a few days. I have not played with it since. My daughter plays it one every 2 weeks and no problems. It is so bright and gives my wife a headache. She doesn't use it after that. The game we own are The Forest, Beat Saber, Creed and more. Love the games, hate the problems that comes with using the Oculus Rift.

I play on about every game console and the Oculus has been extremely impressive. Very immersive and great graphics. Also doesn't take a huge toll on my PC. Recommend if you're looking to get into VR

Easy to install and use. I couldn't wait to have the kit delivered to my place and was very excited when it got here.
