I was told this would work with apple. It will not support it. I had to buy another computer for this to work ..

I feel pretty stupid for purchasing a $400 paper weight. I have tried every which way to make this work with my PC and have had no luck. People seem to have the same issue I am having but there is no actual resolution to the problem other than unplug and plug back in or reinstall the Oculus driver. I have entirely reinstalled Windows and still have not been able to get this thing to turn on. The screen flashed on for half a second then dies out and won't turn on again unless you unplug the device entirely from the system DP AND USB both. Then you plug it back in and it will work for enough time that it blinks on then off again. I have reached out to Oculus support multiple times with my log files and haven't heard as much as a single reply. Don't waste your time.

My son loves this! He plays games and always has a smile on his face. It makes images so realistic. Now all of his friends are buying it after hearing him tell them about it.

If you have a CV1, keep it. The display is very nice on the Rift S, but it would be ten times nicer if you ever really got to enjoy it. The Rift S has a vast number of issues that the CV1 did not. Like plugging your VR headset in and having it just work? The Rift S is not the way to go. If you love microstutter, even after tinkering with drivers and settings for hours? Maybe you'd be the one person that would enjoy it. Even on a fully powered machine it cannot seem to operate to spec. I would have returned this but found that I am four days outside of the return period (Purchased on 03/19/21). I am not running this on an underpowered machine - I am using a Gigabyte Aorus 15g/i7 10870H/RTX 3080 Mobile. The Rift S should come with a warning label.

Haven’t had a problem with the VR set yet, just small things of losing connection of the controllers after I replaced the battery as well as the controllers not being seen in game when playing beat saber.

Works great with Oculus games and applications but visuals are not clear on Realflight arc Simulator.

This is incredible I can’t believe the clear quality it’s like im there thank you Best Buy for such a great item and a great price and your customer service is second to none

My only complaints are: 1. The original product was sent open and was damaged. 2. The wire connected from the PC to the headset. I keep stepping on it and yanking my head down.

Purchased this on a whim A week ago I was gonna upgrade to the HTC Head set which was more pricey than this one I ended up returning the HTC as the oculus was a much better product

Good product. Still long way to go. Would recommend to anyone who needs it.

Got this for the kids birthday along with the laptop. I did some research beforehand and found a USB-C 3.1 to DisplayPort adapter. Works great. “Cable matters” model# 201016 On amazon.

It was a little hard to set up and there weren't a tone of games to play but once it is going it is really fun!

Amazing quality vr headset. Only downside is the headstrap isn't the most comfortable I've worn

Sorry, I didn't use it. Best Buy sold me the wrong item. I returned it and got the Opulus Quest, which I absolutely love. You really feel like you are on a roller coaster... The games are amazing.

It's a good way to get into VR, especially if you have a midrange GPU (like GTX 1050Ti)

Its not perfect but it is still very good for the money. Id definitely recommend this to those who are new to vr.

Great to play with and enjoy. Can be a little disorienting when you first put it on or take it off.

First ... don't even get me started on availability. You advertise to no end to get everyone excited about Quest and Rift before Christmas, but barely have availability anywhere. We got the Rift and even though the Best Buy site listed the gaming laptop we already own as supported ... it doesn't work because the rift only has display port .. and using an adapter to go from HDMI on laptop to display port would not work / was not recognized by the Rift. Tried it on 3 other computers that had a display port, it didn't like those either. Poor poor design. I read reviews that even if you bought a PC or laptop bundled with it .. that sometimes it still wouldn't work on it. Returned the product and ordered the Quest .. which is on back order and keeps getting pushed farther out ... soon will be into March delivery likely.
