Can be used for other platforms other than gaming. I will use it to view VR traveling applications to view other places around the world that I would only dream about going on vacation to.

Thought it was broken out of the box. Turned out the cable wasnt inserted completely onto the headset.

I love it we got beat saber and was a blast. I want to note to all buyers that you have to enable 3rd party access to the computers cameras in windows settings or the rift check will always fail.

My son purchased this item and let me try it and I have to say, even I thought it was pretty cool. Lots of games available and it was a lot of fun. Highly recommend although it is expensive.

Was pretty good for what it was, but with the requirement of a Facebook account, we can no longer justify this VR headset. My husband already bought a Valve Index to replace it, which he is very happy with, and we plan to sell the Rift S. If Facebook didn't require an account to use the Oculus, we most likely would've kept it.

This was a gift for my son and he absolutely loves it! This headset is a stand-alone version, which was perfect for us since he doesn’t have gaming laptop connections.

Overall a pain in the but building a pc that works with this device yet awesome system

My daughter and I have had the best fun with this headset. I would highly recommend it. Just make sure you have a computer that meets the minimum requirements. Better if more.

My son loves this. Works well with his cyber power PC running 24GB ram. When he had 8GB it was a little laggy so make sure to upgrade your RAM for a better experience.

oculus rift is a cool vr experience and brings portable gaming to another level. the features of reality are beyond my expectations and also provides alot of storage

Oculus brings a different gaming experience. Set up took some time but it is great fun.

I’ve recently been riding roller coasters at theme parks and the VR coasters seem to have a greater impact on my stomach than the real coasters... I guess that speaks to the VR experience.

Bought this for my kids along with the gaming pc required to run it kids love it however the cord is starting to show bare wires they should make this more durable

The rift is great, but switching which monitor their displays on can be a pain. In addition, you always have to unplug and replug the cables when you want to use it.

Setup process was really cool. Trying to figure out how to use it with saved movies is a pain...
