This Oculus works great with a gaming PC. If you don not have a gaming PC the Quest is the way to go.

My son is up day and night with that says it fantastic well when you wear is it too long tell me to take it off

The Oculus Rift S is possibly the easiest entry point into PC-based Virtual Reality (VR). Setup is both FAST and EASY. I have worked with VR and AR (Augmented Reality) from the “insert your own smartphone” to room sized dedicated simulators. Setup of the Rift S is very fast once the software has been downloaded. It needs no external tracking stations and has very good visuals. Comfort is at a high level, easily achieved due to easy fitting to the individual, lightweight and good ergonomics. With the new controllers the Rift S has great usability providing a very nice user experience (UX). Due to backward compatibility with the original Rift a plethora of content is available. The Rift S provides a very user-friendly and comfortable headset with fewer USB connections and no need for separate tracking stations compared to the original Rift. The tracking has proven to be awesome. The Rift S also has enough room for eyeglasses. Set up is the easiest I have experienced. Wishes – True wireless, higher video refresh rate and USB-C headphones capability.

This was not a bad product until you had to link it to facebook account. With all the data breach and everything going on I dont trust facebook with my CC info and what not. Returned and will look elsewhere for VR.

I used to have the rift and this is so much easier to connect and not only that but the graphics are amazing.

If you have not adhered to every single hardware or software compatibility requirement for this equipment, you will not be able to set it up. We failed to notice that a Display Prt for DEDICATED GRAPHICS CARD is required and are out of luck. Tried different adapters, read blogs etc. It is a no go. It appears that I yr may not work at all with laptops. Now we have this expensive paperweight in the box. There should be more explicit warnings or disclaimers if the unit is so limited. We live in a plug and play society, right?
