ONLY WORKS WITH DISPLAY PORT!!!

Specifically, the Acer Nitro 5 does not have display port, and the USB C connecter is not Thunderbolt, it is USB-C 3.1, and not connected to the graphics card. FURTHER, you cannot convert the display port signal to HDMI, meaning that the Rift S is not supported by the "Oculus Ready," equipment that Best Buys is packaging this with. Look very carefully at your specifications and the Rift S specifications before buying!

Not a good product

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had 3 of them, the first came with a dead pixel in the right eye, the second one arrived with kinks in the cord, the 3rd arrived with kinks in the cord. The customer service from occulus sucks. I takes multiple days to get a response even after you've begun talking to a rep. The product is very niche however my 8 year old really likes playing rec room. Anyway if you're on the fence skip this model and get a quest 2. There's no getting around the bad customer service though.
