I got this toothbrush to help avoid further gum erosion. It has a pressure warning, so I can make sure I'm not pressing too hard. And since you don't use a normal brushing motion with this toothbrush, it helps to prevent further damage to my receding gums. I also struggle with tartar buildup, especially between my bottom front teeth and this toothbrush helps to keep that to a minimum, better than a manual toothbrush.

I couldn't decide if the newer lightweight design was a good thing or bad. It didn't have the same "heft" as the previous models and felt kind of cheap. I now appreciate the "hand feel" and have grown to really like this. The USB charging thing was kind of off-putting but it makes total sense why Philips moved in that direction. I had a handful of wall plugs in my junk drawer from random electronics. I'm very happy with this purchase. I've been using Sonicare toothbrushes for about 20 years.

Bought this to replace my old Sonicare that died, it was probably at least 10 years old. Love that this is pink and slimmer. Feels like it doesn't have as much power though, but maybe that doesn't matter.

Thinner than previous models and longe battery life. Visible difference in teeth brightness after about 2 weeks of use 1x per day
