After the charge would no longer hold decoded to replace it. Great way to start getting familiar with these kind of toothbrushes. The clean you feel is beyond anything you can get with a regular toothbrush

She in turn bought a black one for her boyfriend in black. Nice clean feeling after brushing and the three color choices make it so easy to tell apart.
