    I would not purchase this item no matter what the sale price is. We purchased this and had it installed professionally at our local Best Buy. The installation was fine and there were no issues. The speaker stopped working completely in 3.5 months. While I understand that things break, the issue is the complete lack of customer service and support on the part of Pioneer. Since it was outside of the 14 day return policy for Best Buy we were forced to deal directly with Pioneer. Instead of doing the right thing, Pioneer makes you ship the item on your own dime to an authorized service location for repair. They will NOT send you a replacement speaker in the meantime. So be warned.... this thing will break, and then you will be paying $40 in shipping to get your $200 speaker repaired. They refuse to cover the shipping. Trust me, you want a different one. This speaker is NOT the one you are looking for. Steer clear of Pioneer at all costs. I wouldn't take this one for free.

    The Sub/Amp combo works great. The reason I’m only giving it 3 stars is the poor help I was provided when asking for help. Was told 3 different prices. First guy said $80. Second guy said $150. Third guy said $300. And I wouldn’t be able to get an install appointment till March. I purchased this in January. I did the install myself.

    I bought this sub and it worked good. But all of the sudden it stopped working and I took it appart just to see if it was a ground wire loose and found out that the voice lead broke. I don't know if this is a common problem or it is a manufacturing error? I bought it and was played for like 1 month. So it isn't old at all. Can I get any help on seeing if it is a manufacturing error?
