The name reflected their products, and maybe they still do but this particular product I am completely dissatisfied with. I am using Android auto with my note 10+. It lags in connecting to my phone, and at times restarts repeatedly not connecting at all. I get a glimpse of how it should work, but it is so annoying I cant even enjoy my music, and when someone comes into my car and I try to show them how it works, it flops. Maybe I got a lemon, but I have heard of others suffering the same way. And the bluetooth handsfree, everyone says I sound terrible. They can't hear me. I end up picking up my cell more with this unit installed. I missed my return date thinking I had 30 days, but I only had 15. I was not an elite member. I saved for this thing. $600+ is not cheap. And I get this. Call it nex because you will be looking for the next stereo. I wish it just worked. Oh well, I learned a hard lesson. My options are limited and will take time to remedy.

With that being said, wireless Apple Carplay cycles between un-usable and good depending on your location. In downtown area's audio pops in and out, maps lag, and often the screen will go entirely black until it disconnects from Carplay and connects via regular Bluetooth. Pioneer has no fix for this beyond the promise of a "future" software update to "hopefully" address the issue. This being the only reason for purchasing the unit, I would not purchase this unit or another Pioneer unit in the future. Other than that, this unit works good with radio, Bluetooth, and wired Apple Carplay. The connection for each of those is good but the unit has slow response to anything you try to do. Overall, I would be very underwhelmed with this unit even without the wireless Apple Carplay issues.

No one can hear you. It was also very annoying to have to use the usb for the car play. It was in a very inconvenient spot.

Sometimes it disconnects the wireless CarPlay and it has trouble connecting to my Wi-Fi 90% of the time. I would return this product if I could.
