It just doesn’t function well. It turns on automatically if you hit a bump. It’s just ridiculous! Is it because of poor installation? Quite possibly! Never again, Geek Squad! Never again! Do yourself a favor! Go to a real car audio shop. Pay more; get more! If you’re keeping a car instead of trading it in, then it’s worth the extra cost. Trust us!

If the unit shuts off or turns on when you hit a bump, it is most likely a loose connection.
I understand you may not be happy with the Best Buy installation. You might talk to the manager and see if they have a different install technician, or maybe a different store.

Does everything expected, and does it well. I'll be putting one in my own Navigator as well. And the install was done very professionally.

While Best Buy is very helpful with install process. The product itself doesn't hold up. Phone calls are impossible with the person on the other end not able to hear me unless im yelling into the microphone. The screen glitched constantly after a year. Bluetooth and usb connection quit all together shortly after.

Installed in a 2015 Wrangler, bought the steering wheel controls interface and the SiriusXM receiver with the antenna adapter to use the factory satellite antenna, all work great.

I got this radio on sale but I don't think it was worth the sale price. The screen is barely bigger than my Pixel 6a screen, and it is not adjustable, so I can only see it when I don't have sunglasses on. I didn't realize that the clock was going to be very small and difficult to see while driving. I had not been informed before I ordered this that I would have to pay $100 extra if I wanted the volume control to be on the steering wheel (so I didn't get that additional purchase). So the only volume controls are a very small + and - that are not really safe to adjust while driving. The sound quality is no better than the radio that came with my 13 year old car. The rear view camera that was also installed is another set of problems, but I'll try to review that separately. (I don't know if the adjustments for that are a problem with this unit or that one.). Besides all of that, the installers estimated 2 hours and it took almost 4, and then they didn't close the underdash completely, so it fell into my lap as I was driving home. Needless to say, if I could go back I would not have made this purchase.

The screen size should have been made clear before you had it installed. The local stores usually have them on display for you to see.
To retain steering wheel controls does require an adapter kit, these can range greatly in price and are different for most vehicles. These cannot be included with the stereos.
The NHTS have set rules that we have to follow. We cannot have the parking assist lines show when the camera image first appears. The driver needs to see the full area, to ensure nothing is behind the vehicle. Then the driver can enable the parking assist lines, should they be needed.
Please return to the installer, so they can properly close the dash for you.
