I have a Nissan Versa 2017 and the odd fact it had bluetooth calling but not bluetooth music was just odd, but the fact that the original unit began to have issues where i couldn’t make calls after a call or after a voice command to siri was troublesome. i had some reservations about installing a new system as my biggest worry is that it would not overcome the sound of the highway and car while i drove 80mph. to put even a new system in and not have it drown out that sound would frustrate me to no end. but i decided to try their were other things I wanted to have in my car that a new Stereo Receiver would remedy. (apple carplay, android Auto, bluetooth calling that worked.) so I initially wanted a different unit but it looks like 0 were in stock, so after some thinking I figure i would get this one. and it didn’t disappoint, and my worries were baseless. this unit does what i want and even more. Apple Carplay and Android auto, has a spot for a backup camera, spot for video in and equalizer when paired with the JBL 628 6.5” speakers i bought make my favorite songs so powerful it makes me move to them. allowing the deep bases to sound deeper and more powerful. and other sounds to be more rich I officially could care less to drive the wife’s 2021 Corolla which i slightly envied the better sound it already had. I can officially ditch the FM Transmitter i was using to play music. and was temporarily using to make and take calls in the car. but it had its problems. people hearing me was a problem. now i am only bothered by the lack of static in my stereo system, but am rapidly growing more comfortable of it. played the Terminator 2 soundtrack and I really want to utilize the Video In on the unit and watch a movie in my car…

I bought this for my son. Given its price, it received a free installation. There was a glitch that was quickly resolved, and it is working well. My son loves it, and so do I. I am blown away at the sound quality (though now he needs new speakers to take advantage of this superior receiver!), the brightness of the display, and the richness of features. He still likes to use CDs, and we loaded one up and it was playing with just a few seconds, no long delays to load or anything. I wanted to get my son a good receiver, and this fit the bill. He did not want a large screen, too distracting, so this was just perfect, and the bright screen makes it easy to navigate. Also, it has "hard buttons" on the left side of the player, and these are easily reached by the driver and easy to remember. My only concern, and it has proven unfounded, is that this was a bit old, as it came out in 2019. But all of its features hold up quite well with more current receivers. It seems well built, a quality receiver. Just a cool gadget, what else can I say.

Read past the good and bad lists for details for details for a 2017 WRX install. Pro-tip, pay the extra for the Scosche piano black double DIN bezel for install, much better than the half silver Metra one. The good: Better, easier to read, more responsive touchscreen than stock head unit in 2017 WRX. Clean power confirmed to volume level 39 out of 40 total. If installed with a Maestro RR you get on screen gauge, a built in ODBII scanner, door open indicators, real time battery output, and TPMS real time data on a 2017 WRX(something it doesn't come with factory). Wireless Android Auto/Carplay works quite well with a few random disconnects. Uses your phones Bluetooth for calls and Wi-Fi Direct for AA/CP audio streaming which is waaay better quality than Bluetooth streaming. Overall audio quality is quite good with a lot of controls like adjustable slope and frequency for LPF and HPF, time alignment, phase control, etc.. The bad: Small capacitive buttons on left side are too small and difficult to use for volume. A simple knob would be better. Overall system responsiveness especially after boot could be better but is vast improvement over most stock head units. Hopefully this improves with firmware updates. Firmware update process is maddening. Be patient. I never could get the direct USB thumb drive method to work which usually is the easy way. After many attempts using the phone app wireless update method, over a few days of trying, it eventually worked. So hang in there. Pioneer needs to work on that. Firmware updates gone wrong can brick a device and should not be this difficult to navigate. The details: Not perfect but as a replacement for the factory head unit in our 2017 WRX it's a vast improvement. If you make this particular switch the first impression may be a bit muddled by the fact you're going from a craptastic resistive screen to a capacitive (like a modern smartphone) screen. The capacitive screen does not work well with the long slow heavy presses you are used to using with the stock head unit. You have to learn how to use light quick "taps" and after the initial 30 seconds after boot up the responsiveness becomes much better than stock. The capacitive buttons on left side of unit are too small and difficult to use. If I could change anything it would be to get one with a actual knob. If you're like us you wanted to keep all the factory steering wheel and backup camera functionality plus some and you had it installed with a Maestro RR and SU2 harness. So you just get used to using the steering wheel controls so it's kinda a moot point. (Note for the WRX application we used this for if you have an access port or plan to use anything on your ODBII port you'll have to pick one or the other and switch between them as the Maestro RR occupies the OBDII port for the car features. It's driving a full set of Kicker CS components with mid driver in front doors and new tweeters up front and Kicker CS coaxials in back doors. I tested the head units outputs with my oscilloscope and it doesn't start clipping until 39 out of 40 total volume and around 20 watts RMS power per channel. So you can drive it up to one notch below max and get clean sound coming out. That's the sign of a good clean head unit.

Very easy to navigate this Multimedia CD Receiver. It came with the microphone for hands free calls. You can connect up to two phones and it's very easy to switch from Bluetooth to a HD radio. It has Pandora, Spotify, and much more. You can choose your own background and outline colors. So far I am happy with the product.

I did a great deal of research before this purchase. This Pioneer DMH-W4660NEX is fantastic. It performs fast and sounds excellent. I bought it specifically to work with my Apple devices. I am amazed with the slick interface and ease of use. Apple Car Play works via Bluetooth or wired direct to my iPhone, which is not common in car audio. I will admit that installation is daunting if you intend to use every feature and want it to look like an OEM system. I installed it in my 2004 F-150 Lariat with a steering wheel control interface. Because I am so finicky about these things and because I also installed new speakers and a sub-woofer, the installation involved removal of seats, center console, A-pillar trims, sill plates, kick panels, dash trims, glove box, driver's side lower dash, and the headliner. I also installed front and rear cameras and rear-seat monitors, which required signal wires from both ends of the truck. But with all that cable and so many connection, the Pioneer unit handles everything with utter elegance. I fully recommend this and can also state that, after exhausting price comparison, Best Buy is the place to purchase.

Unbelievable quality. I have a 2008 Mustang with a stock AM/FM radio. I thought the speakers were shot because the sound quality was so bad. Was I in for a surprise! I went to the Geek rep in the store and he ordered all the parts that I need. The radio fits like it came with the car. Now I have great sound, bluetooth, hands free phone and a backup camera! Also Sirius radio!

Easy to install. Has lots of features. Works great with car play. Touch screen is great. No complaints

All I can say is WOW! This Head Unit really blows my socks off! I am upgrading from a stock 2011 mopar stereo and I am blown away!! Way more umph than the stock one or even any Sony receivers I have done before. It has every media access you could possibly use for a Car Stereo. I watched Star Wars Ep. II on this. At 1080P! What more can you say... - First, I bought this head unit to be able to have a backup camera. More to follow on that. The stereo comes with "FREE" installation and a "Free SIRIUS" tuner( you have to re-iterate that to the install team otherwise they will miss it). So, with that when I got the stereo, it took about a month to get it installed. I had it installed along with a backup camera (Backup camera install was a bust) but everything else was fine. Although they were not able to get the backup camera to work, I was still impressed! I did buy this stereo so I could have a backup camera but it has so much more sound, bass and Treble than the old stereo. - Second, So After I ordered a new backup camera, they Geeks were able to get it installed, finally, and realized that reading the instructions for the backup camera would make sense. After that, I was blown away at the job they did! - Third, after a month of using it and getting Sirius, I have ZERO 0 Complaints. I can access every medium I want to play music from, Android Auto ALWAYS WORKS FLAWLESSLY and I can just say that this was the best decision for my truck that I've ever made. Thank you.

I liked the radio. I had it installed in my 2008 Nissan Sentra. It fit well in the car and it definitely modernized it for me. The old radio had like an 8-bit display if you can imagine that. So it was a big upgrade. I mostly use the Apple Car Play feature. It gave me Nav which I did not have and the price was pretty good for what I got. I haven't had any real problems with it. Siri can sometimes be difficult cause for some reason she doesn't understand words I say but I have figured out how to rephrase it so she ends up doing what I ask. I haven't really used the remote control that comes with the radio since Siri does what I need. It has a mic that needs to be mounted in order for you to use voice commands and if you are OK with that, then you should be fine with it. I did have to purchase a Maestro to keep all of the car features but that made the radio even better. Overall I like the radio and as I said it massively upgrades the radio that came with the vehicle. I think I got it on sale for like $479. I am happy with it since it was a major upgrade and it is for a car that I drive occasionally as a backup vehicle that I got for a great price in case my main vehicle is in the shop or something.

Love this unit! It didn't take long at all to get acquainted with the easy to use Pioneer designed interface. Have it hooked up to 4 Kicker 6x9's, kicker mini amp powering the 6x9's and 2 compact mini-Infinity 6x8 subs, tucked under my front seats and it all sounds awesome! Love the features of this great priced Pioneer Head Unit! Pioneer, nothing else need be said. 5*****

Amazing headunit! CarPlay works seamlessly. HD radio is also a huge convince and get much better local stations than normally available. Touch screen is very responsive and sound quality is very good as well. Worth every penny! In my opinion this is the best CarPlay unit in terms of quality and features in this price range.

I got this avh-2550nex on sale for $380. I spent the extra $50 and got the 4 year geeksquad protection from Bestbuy. Android auto is nice, and works great, but all the apps that it uses stays on in the back ground and uses up data. I had someone with an iphone use apple car play, and it worked great also. Bluetooth works great for music and phone calls. Sometimes the pairing can be a little bit glitchy, but it ends up pairing after a couple tries and works fine. The 13 band equalizer lets me get a good sound quality. It also has other nice sound adjustment settings, and background color settings. I gave a 4 star review because of the glitchy pairing that only happens sometimes, not always, and the lack of option to close out unused apps causing extra data use. Its an overall great headunit for the money, and I would recomend this one if double din, budget, and pioneer are the options that you are looking for.

Pioneer 2660 really improved the overall listening experience in the car. The main reason we purchased this unit was Apple CarPlay and it did not disappoint. The HD radio sounds good and the receiver has lots of adjustments to fine tune the sound. There are no issues with the unit other than the unwanted buzzing/static noise. Hopefully, the installer, Geek Squad in Manchester, MO, will take responsibility and take care of the noise. So the product gets 5 stars and the installer gets 2.

I spent weeks searching for a radio replacement for the 2015 Wrangler. This unit stood out for all the features and comparative prices. I've been very happy with this units features, ease of use, and integration into the steering wheel controls and Android Auto connection. Highly recommend this.

A wonderful head unit that is very easy to use and works well with all the “extra stuff” in my vehicle. I give it 4 out of 5 because if you use WAZE, you will have to reseat the connection at the included USB cable in order for all the features in the app to work - and that’s for each time you enter your car and connect to the device. CarPlay or Android Play works equally well with this unit, giving you great access to all its unique features on its respective platforms. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to upgrade their original factory radios to a more advanced unit. You will not regret it.

Does everything I'd expect out of a modern head unit with lots of capacity for add-on capability (Input/Outputs). Self installed easily with a few kits/adapters specific to my vehicle (2015 CX5), retained steering wheel controls, clean/stock upgrade of usb/aux port in console with generic GM replacement (search for car USB port here on Best Buy). Huge upgrade to base model radio and is better than just about any stock "premium" units I've had in other vehicles. HD Radio is a pretty cool feature (fair number of stations in mid-sized city, but likely limited in isolated rural areas), with better sound quality, full display of song info and album art. I liked the feature of being able to customize button illumination color (almost limitless selection) and several background selections (I like the graphic EQ background in color that matches other dash lighting). My dimmer function wasn't working by default...figured it had something to do with the wire that provides the prompt for system to dim with the lights. Fortunately the radio lets you select a mode where it dims based on time of day, so I didn't have to troubleshoot the dimmer wire connection.

This radio has all the features I wanted and more. It has CarPlay which connects to my iPhone, customizable equalizer and display, HD radio, Pandora, Spotify, and YouTube connectivity, GPS, Alexa and Siri compatibility, DVD player, Bluetooth, and excellent sound! What more can you ask? I highly recommend this product!

Great sound easy to use great price . Perfect size screen

Awesome replacement for any OEM radio. The sound out of this thing is fantastic. I needed a kit to connect directly to my car's harness which I had to purchase separately. I also needed a harness that takes the 12V power out from the Pioneer and converts it to 5V for my external amps which was also purchased separately. Hands free operation with my phone is fantastic. The main screen updates its view when I turn my lights on which is helpful for driving at night. My phone uses android carplay which works fantastic on this Pioneer. The Pioneer has a line out for satellite radio but the SiriusXM app plays just fine from the phone. If driving in places where phone reception is poor I recommend buying the separate sattelite radio antenna harness. I installed this unit in my 2003 Ford Mustang Cobra. I highly recommend this very simple update to your OEM head unit. I installed this unit in an afternoon once I had all the parts needed.

This is a much needed upgrade from what my 2017 Nissan Rogue had in it. Android Play is amazing and I don't think I'll go without ever again. Sound is clear, interface is easy and overall a huge improvement. My only complaint is that the system comes with its own microphone and I wish it could have used whatever was already in my car. I've been told the road noise is very loud which annoys me since that's an obvious downgrade.
