I really like this radio so far. Andriod auto works perfect, screen is flawless, and touch is very sensitive. Plays loud and easy to figure out. I think i need to take a second look at the backup camera wire though as that isnt working but was on my last radio. Also, i thought it would work on steering wheel controls but it looks like i might have to get a canbus installed to get that to work. Not sure-have to do more research.

This is a very nice receiver, well worth the money. Fairly easy to use, just need to play around with the settings. Apple CarPlay is very convenient, as well as the hands free calling and backup camera option.

Easy to use, with a decent screen. For the price this unit is very good. The installation was done by Best Buy quickly and easily. I like it. It looks like it was original equipment on my 2014 Honda CR-V.

This multimedia system has performed great so far. It is nice to have the functionality this unit provides. It fit well in my 2011 Toyota Prius. My Pixel 4a phone pairs well and the CD sounds great. I also purchased a separate USB plug that fit in one of the unused switch ports and it hooked up with the radio and I have the ability to listen to MP3 music via a thumb drive. The one negative comment I have is that the touch screen isn't that sensitive. Trying to move from one input option to another on the drop-drown window isn't that easy. Other than that, all functions on the unit work as expected. Android Auto works great providing naviation funtionality. The unit delivers what's promised.

The wireless car play is legit. If ever it was worth it to pay the price of a small motorized vehicle,l for some tunes… this is it! Easy to use, was a breeze to install (swapping out my prior aftermarket clarion deck); and easy to wire up.

Installing is easy on your own. Works better with Apple Carplay. Android only hooks through bluetooth audio well. Camera is very clear & stereo itself could be better in my opinion sounds suffocated. But is new so still playing around with it.Had to shut entire car off to get it back to home screen did freeze on me today when using my android.GPS is good on it no problems. If u have Apple iphone works best in my opinion.

The receiver provides Car Play which allows me to use applications such as Waze. It also can play CD's or the radio at the same time and easily switch the display to show the map or show the Disk or Radio interface. The screen for the backup camera is a big improvement over the stock receiver. Easy learning curve. All of the interfaces with the car (a VW Jetta) - mainly steering wheel controls and the backup camera work perfectly.

This model pioneer is just what my truck needed ! The sound is great and it has blue tooth and apple CarPlay ! I also installed a backup camera with this system ! Everything works great! The Best Buy guys also did a great job on the installation ! Looks like factory install

works great with very good sound quality. controls are fairly intuitive and easy to operate. Apple carplay is fantastic. I am very happy with the purchase and still finding out all the cool features.

I bought this to replace my girlfriends radio that stopped working. So far its been great. All the functions work well. The entire radio is touch screen so no buttons to press. But, she uses the controls on her steering wheel to change the stations and adjust the volume so no big deal on touch screen no buttons getting used to problem. Overall shes been very happy.

I've had this for about a month now, and I've been very happy with the upgrade over my old radio (which already was a replacement of my factory radio). The installer was able to fit it into my 2007 PT Cruiser (involved cutting the dashboard), the only thing I had to set up manually was the rear view camera (sold separately) parking guide lines (easy enough, following the manual, just had to put the parking brake on to enable the set up option). I found an add-on that plugs into the USB port to enable wireless Apple car play (the only negative is that initially when the radio turns on it starts off in 'iPod' mode because it thinks that's what plugged into USB port) - It takes maybe 10 seconds before wireless air play kicks in with the add on. With Car Play, I usually have Waze navigation on (with things like red light camera alerts) alongside YouTube Music (where I can, for example, say "Siri, next song" to skip a song). It's a nice add on for an older car, and makes the car feel 'new' to me. I also have added Sirius (sold separately, subscription required) support, and for example I like listening to news and talk radio with that.

Great sounds looks nice easy to use easy to install in a 2007 Honda CRV - had an excellent tech person that installed the radio.

I always take product reviews with a large grain of salt, but that was definitely unnecessary for this. The Pioneer AVH-2550NEX Receiver is an Excellent choice for an in-dash car stereo upgrade. I had assumed that I would replace all of the existing speakers as a "Phase Two" of the upgrades, but that isn't necessary any more. With this Pioneer and adjustment of the equalizer I have a MAJOR improvement in the sound quality in my car and have no need for any speaker upgrades. The features are outstanding, easily accessed. Bluetooth and Android features work well and the integration with phone and stored music is completely reliable. HD Radio is a Plus. The in-store installer in Manchester did a great job. He was very easy to work with and worked to answer all of my questions and implement all of my installation preferences, If you're thinking about this Receiver, go for it. It is not going to disappoint.

The Pioneer 6.8 Multimedia Player works great. I love Apple Car Play, and Pioneer is easy to use and Sounds Awesome. I highly Recommend the Pioneer 6.8 Multimedia Digital Receiver. Please note, it does not play CD or DVD's.

Put this in a 2018 Wrangler to replace a very basic factory unit. Works better than anticipated! The factory speakers were replaced with Alpine boosted by a 500 watt amp. Added a small powered sub as well. Also had Geek Squad install a backup camera. The camera comes across very clear on the receiver screen. The CarPlay works flawless with my iPhone X. My only complaint would be fit of the installation kit at the bottom face of head unit. There is a 1/4 inch gap where I have to fabricate a small trim piece if I get bothered by it. But it’s good enough for now and most people would not notice unless they were looking for it. Overall I am very happy with the product and price and would do it again!

Love the stereo easy to set up, sounds great, love the wireless blue tooth feature

Basic head unit worked great in my 14 F-150. Has a nice 13 band graphic equalizer built in. Android auto works great and I'm able to do gps on screen. through my phone as long as my phone is plugged in, the one thing is, I wish it connected through Bluetooth for Android Auto to work. I paired it up with four 6x8 Infinity kapas and two scar 8-in subwoofers and it sounds great!

This is the first after market deck I've had in seven years. I'm loving this thing. I guess I didn't realize how much technology had changed in this time. Google Maps, extra gages that track all kinds of details, tire pressure readings.. I've had it for a month and there are still things I'm discovering about it. The interface is easy to use, albeit took me a bit to find everything, but that was no biggie. And it sounds amazing. The equalizer settings are great.

I put this in a 2001 Pathfinder. Very nice sound, build quality is good. Looks like OEM. There are some bugs. When first installed, any amount of ambient light would completely wash out the screen. This solved itself after doing a Reset. Auto dimming does not work, Pioneer support told me to cut the wire going to the vehicle lights as this interferes. This means the unit can't detect nighttime by whether your lights are on. I set it to auto-dim according to the time. This seems to work well. The Android Auto application loaded on this radio is buggy. Twice I've had it stop working - the application would stop launching when I connected my Droid. I found the solution is, again, to reset the radio, meaning you have to enter all your settings again. Other than that, the Android Auto works well. Can make and receive phone calls and can play music from my Droid while simultaneously navigating, and can even independently control the volume of what you are listening to and the audible navigation instructions. Also, at least for my vehicle (2001 Nissan Pathfinder), there is no interface unit to connect my steering wheel radio controls to the 2550. At least none that work.

I installed this radio in a 2015 Camry SE. What a difference in sound even with the factory speakers! Android auto works well and it is possible to watch youtube with weblink. My only complaint is the fact that you cannot listen to music from usb stick and run android auto at the same time. I guess this is where wireless andriod would be needed. By the way dvds look good, I wish someone would make car blu-ray players as streaming still sucks (I am old).
