    If I can do less than 1 star I would. Lasted a good two months before problems started. Like end of January would constantly turn on and off, currently just stays on white screen. Don’t know what to do anymore, want to like it but is just too problematic. DO NOT BUY

    The performance of this unit was enough to give it three stars but now it has stopped working completely after three months. This is just unacceptable.

    I purchased this Pioneer car stereo because it advertised Apple CarPlay, modern connectivity, and cutting-edge technology. What it did not advertise—tragically—is that it refuses to fit inside a 1915 Model-T Ford. Let me be clear: this stereo is excellent. The screen is bright, CarPlay connects instantly, Siri listens better than my passengers, and the sound quality is light-years ahead of whatever acoustic sorcery Henry Ford was working with. Maps pop up beautifully, Spotify slaps, and phone calls no longer require yelling into the wind. However, when I attempted installation, I discovered several compatibility issues: • The dash is mostly wood • The “factory wiring harness” is a hope and a prayer • There is no place for a double-DIN unit, unless I remove the steering column, the soul of the car, or time itself • Apple CarPlay does not support “horse-drawn traffic mode” I tried explaining to the installer that this car predates electricity, but they just stared at me and slowly backed away. To Pioneer’s credit, the unit works flawlessly once removed from the 20th century and installed in a normal vehicle. It pairs instantly, sounds amazing, and does not judge you for your music choices—unlike the Model-T, which creaks disapprovingly. Final verdict: 5 stars. Amazing stereo. Terrible fit for my Model-T. Would recommend to anyone driving a car built after the invention of radio.

    I bought this to replace my girlfriends radio that stopped working. So far its been great. All the functions work well. The entire radio is touch screen so no buttons to press. But, she uses the controls on her steering wheel to change the stations and adjust the volume so no big deal on touch screen no buttons getting used to problem. Overall shes been very happy.

    This stereo works great and is super easy to use. Install was super easy and I really like how it has apple play and android play chich makes driving easier so that i dont have to keep pucking up my phone. Definilty a great buy at a great price.

    Decent device, I had a power issue about a month after having it installed, and the installation tech can't replicate the problem. That's my only complaint, but it's significant because the stereo drains my car battery every couple of weeks.

    Word great. Installer was very knowledgable with the set up. This is a surprise for my wife, she will love it. Easy to read and operate while she is alone. The unit looks like it was factory installed. My wife can automatically answer calls hands free. The maps are from apple so asking Seri to find a driving route while speaking through the car speakers is a big plus. Asking Siri to send a text is Easy.

    The unit itself works great! Long range for Bluetooth capabilites and sounds great too. My only concern is that people say i sound muffled while talking on the phone. But hey, its better than holding my phone.

    Really needed this installed in my truck to use the screen for a back up camera. My older truck did not have that option when was manufactured. Also a good upgrade on my stereo. Thanks Geek Squad

    Compared to my original radio in my 03 vehicle this is a 4 star product. The installation required sawing away to make space. The android auto is giving me problems connecting. I also dont like the volume control button. 3.5 star rating. I recommend this product if it is more than 50% off.

    Equipment is good, not pleased with Best Buy

    Radio works fine and install work is fine. The people at Best Buy were not knowledgeable. It took forever to get help and the person who helped me assured me that I purchased everything I need( I did have to order a part off Amazon because Best Buy couldn’t get it), when I took it in for install, I had to buy a install kit for the camera I purchased in the store. I was not pleased with the store or employees. Equipment is fine, Best Buy was a big disappointment

    DOES NOT PLAY IPODS EVEN THOUGH THERE'S IPOD APP

    Pros: 1. Sound quality - hugely improved the audio from the manufacturer's installed head unit. 2. CarPlay and Android Auto works as expected. Cons: 1. The "iPod" label is misleading. This radio does not really read and play iPods. The very reason I picked this model is because I wanted to be able to connect and play my iPod classic. But no, it doesn't. The "iPod" app is the Apple Music app on your iPhone. DO NOT GET THIS HEAD UNIT IF YOU'RE AFTER PLAYING IPOD. 2. UI could do better. 3. Physical buttons would have been better than capacitive ones.

    Bought this lovely Pioneer product from Best Buy as an open box product. The condition was excellent, looked like it was never used, ever! I bought it in June 2022 for my 2007 RAV4. I didn’t get to installing it until October ‘22 when I finally had some time. I made an appointment with Best Buy and had purchased the harness kit and wires appropriate for the car. it is late July 2023, I’ve loved the enhancement to my stereo, until one evening I turn my car on, and the screen went white. The connection still partially worked so I thought maybe a cable came loose or some thing. The power screen would come up sometimes, but it would not move from the initial on screen with the Pioneer logo. I was able to make an appointment with the car audio at Best Buy a few weeks ago. Best Buy technician said there was nothing they could do. It was a problem with the unit itself malfunctioning. Since it was outside of the one-year purchase period and I did not buy extended electronic warranty with Best Buy, they could not replace it. Very disappointing and upsetting news to me, since all in all everything cost at least $500. Very dissapointed in this investment. :(
