I bought two of these to replace the 1330NEX and 1440NEX I had in my vehicles. Both of those models were great and I never had any issues. The main reasons why I changed was because I wanted the better capacitive screen, the smaller chassis and the wireless CarPlay. My initial impressions were good. The screen is definitely better but the new interface takes a while to get used to, in fact it has a lot of stuff that I think makes it unnecessarily complicated. The new operating system also has a lot of glitches, as if they rushed this to market. The wireless CarPlay sometimes doesn’t connect and various systems disappear and reappear. I also don’t see the real need for HDMI since I can play movies from USB, and I’ll probably never use the Alexa. I’m hoping they come out with future upgrades to fix the issues I’m having because I really like the appearance of this unit. Right now if you just want a better screen, don’t need a small chassis and can do without wireless CarPlay, I’d suggest the much cheaper DMH-2660NEX.

Install looks factory have more functions than factory unit . Works with factory controls at steering wheel. And with better adj,s for unit great sound as well . Unit was install in a 2015 Tahoe

Awesome radio, looks good and easy to use. Sounds great with my system and love how the display and adjustments are.

So far- so good. Really nice unit with capability to do so much. I plan on adding on the Maestro feature this spring, along with cameras. That’s what I like about it....if you can’t afford to do everything at once, you can add features 1 by 1. I’ve never been a pioneer fan, I usually like Kenwood. But, after seeing a review on the Money Pit feature on Donut media’s Facebook page- pitting pioneer against the exact Kenwood model I was contemplating, it won me over. Granted....the unit they reviewed was a 1500 NEX- if I went with a more expensive model it should be just as good, if not better. The call quality on both ends are great. After seeing mine - I have friends and family looking to upgrade.

This is a purchase I wish I made earlier. So loving it. The installation guys at Wheaton Best Buy Herman and Leandro impressed me a whole lot.

No Disappointments here! Expect nothing less from pioneer. Always satisfied with their products. Apple Car play works flawlessly.

I love it! Everything that I have tried works great. I am looking forward to see how it works with the backup camera once installed.

Radio itself is a definite 90% the other 10% is the times I’ve switched to CarPlay for gps and radio option aren’t available.

So far shipping was well done,with nice updates&alerts.The packaging was nicely done and padded.The unit seems to be in nice condtion for being a used item.To bad they dont inculde install with purchase and make it seperate but its not a deal breaker.All in all the process was easy to use&I cant wait to get the unit installed. :-)

Pioneer DMH-2660NEX is a great unit that has surpassed my expectations. The Apple CarPlay connects seamlessly.

Nope this radio has just brought my car to its full potential and I’m just blown away. The gentleman who installed it was absolutely fantastic! He went above and beyond to ensure a great experience!

I LOVE this radio! My car is over 10 years old and i feel like I have a new car with this new gadget. I bought it mainly for safety. I no longer have to look down at my phone to change a song or illegally read a text. Siri does it all for me. Great investment.
