Check with the Geek Squad, they can let you know if it is possible to return the unit and upgrade to the DMH-1500NEX.

Not a good buy

It wasn’t compatible with the features in my car which is a 17 Nissan murano. I tired to return it just 2 weeks of being install only to find out I can. I would say don’t buy this radio. I only need to replace my door speakers my car.

I am sorry to hear the unit is not compatible with your factory systems.
The factory systems have evolved to a point where you need a special interface and the radio would have to be compatible.
Please work with Best Buy’s Geek Squad. They will verify the correct system for your vehicle and assist you with any additional accessories you may need.

Dont buy

Doesnt work at all. Didnt get to use it for 5 minutes. Bought it, it was cold out. Its nicer and went to put it in. Bestbuy.com said call someone who cares basically. Shouldnt there be a warranty at least?

Not worth it

It will randomly change stations and not stay on. It's super frustrating because I bought two of them and both of them do this. I can only use Bluetooth to listen to music.

Disconnect anything you have connected to the SWC (steering wheel control) port. If the problem no longer occurs, your steering wheel control adapter may be bad or need to be reprogrammed.
When the unit randomly changes stations, source, or volume on it's own, this is usually the cause.
On the DMH-342EX, Bluetooth is only for phone calls and streaming music. It does not support Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

Not worth it

The radio does not have apple play for phone. The usb cord that comes with it doesnt recognize my phone. It keeps shutting of the volume and power to my amp i keep getting a error msg if i turn the vilume up. Im gonna send this back and get something else dont waist ur time or money

My overall take is the total design is flawed so I will be returning.

But i was talked out of installing some parts which now is giving a annpying humming sound when i turn the radio. Good tech but his head seemed out of it during installation. Now i need to take it in again or try to fix that annoying sound.....

Posted .The DMH-342EX does have limited navigation application compatibility.
If you want Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, you would want to look at a different model, like the DMH-1770NEX.
