Good radio and would buy again it is vary easy to install

It was self-install but everything afterwards was straight forward!

I would avoid this head unit if you intend to use it with Android. The unit was installed by Best buy and we still can't get the Android Auto to function. It might be good with Apple car play but don't waste your money if you have Android Auto. My only option if they can't resolve this is to return it and try a cheaper head unit.

Great radio with one major flaw - the internal SD card dies after a year. Pros: * Wireless carplay! * Great screen * can set screen angle * HD radio * SiriusXM support * great interface Cons: * Sometimes the idatalink maestro connection gets wonky * Occasionally volume control stops working on airplay and the device pops a message stating "unsupported accessory" - resetting the radio fixes it (powering it off and back on) * Sometimes if you try to reverse before the radio boots only HD Radio will work - resetting the radio fixes it * HUGE CON: the internal SD card will die, typically after 2 years but I got lucky and it occurred a year to the day - close enough for Pioneer to say "pay us $200 + shipping". Thankfully there are aftermarket options, but this is extremely disappointing.

When I originally researched this product, it had all the features I wanted. I spent a lot of time getting the wiring done so that I could enjoy it. When it was installed, that’s where the problem started. There is a major glitch where if your phone is hooked up to Apple CarPlay and try to turn the volume up on my steering wheel, it activates Siri instead of turning the volume up. My Geeksquad technician worked very hard trying to fix the issue including switching it out for another radio of the same model. After he worked with his tech guys, they determined it’s an issue with this model radio itself as other radios don’t have this issue. Very dissatisfied with this product. To avoid headaches, avoid this product

Volume button changes screen to random selections.

It is a nice radio but they should have told me that I was going to have to buy extra pieces to get it installed and it took so long after I purchased it from July 29 to August 31 for installation

broke less than a year later with there being a known issue with the internal SD card. Had to send back and get refund

At 25 months the random software error occurred and now it's no longer a functioning unit.

Had an older version that worked great until becoming locked. This radio has a difficult time connecting to Android Auto. I've tried different phones and different USB cables. Might be a firmware issue.

The navigation apps on this do not work. They work perfectly on my phone when they are not connected to CarPlay. When connected to the head unit, it is constantly moving my location (often 2 or 3 streets over). I have taken it in and they have no solution. They just tried disconnecting the GPS Antenna in an attempt to rely on the GPS on my phone and it is doing the same thing when connected to wireless CarPlay. Even if that had worked it would not be an ideal solution as it would drain the phone battery. Do not buy!!

Still working with BB to address critical issues. thankfully, I only bought and had this installed a couple of weeks ago.

Works well for 6-9mths. Connection problems. Had to replace mine unit twice . Second one just stopped working.

Best Buy replace this unit several times now and I am still having problems.

If you already have a OEM hub capable of Apple Car Play, stay away. This product is very unstable if you have a commute over 20 minutes. It will randomly lock and reboot. This is terrible on longer trips when you’re using navigation. I’m using an iPhone 11 Pro Max with the latest updates.
