Got this on a Labor Day deal for $299 with Free Installation. Best buy got it hooked up in no time. The actual product is solid and is working great so far. It is WIRED Carplay so be prepared to have a corded set up. But if you know that in advance, it is a great setup and I highly recommend at the $300-$350 pricing. I had it paired with the Metra Back up camera and it is working flawlessly and is a great creature comfort to add to my 06 Ranger. If I had to be really nitpicky I would say the touchscreen feels SLIGHTLY cheap. But is responsive and working well.

This review is a warning in reference to the “ free installation”. This was a Christmas gift for our grandson. When the salesman was asked about any additional costs with the install we were told “not that much”. “Not that much” turned out to be $400 above the $300 apple car play. We didn’t find this out until after our grandson knew of his gift. This shock was realized when we made the appointment for the installation. One harness needed was $280 alone. The appointment was made. It’s hard to tell your grandson he can’t have his gift due to a salesman not trained in what he’s selling. Fast forward a week to the appointment & find out the parts needed that are “in stock” are not in stock but we can drive across town & pick up the part from another Best Buy, which we did. If you don’t go back to the installation department & pay for the parts upfront there is no guarantee that installation will actually occur at your appointment. After speaking to the manager the fault was directed to the salesman being new & not knowing what he was doing. We said it falls back on him to train his employees to prevent someone from buying a $300+ apple car play & then find out another $400 is needed to actually use it. We will say our grandson loved this unit. No complaints at all with the Pioneer.

Don’t have any complaints on this unit. I am upgrading from a Pioneer unit that came in this truck with just a CD player and some fancy colors. The Apple CarPlay is what I needed and I brought an adapter so I just connect it and throw it in the glovebox, lock it and go. If you’re upgrading speakers I will say get an amp, the head unit does the job but an amp will give you a fuller, cleaner sound

It works better than the OEM radio, easy to use and works really well with Android Auto.

Major upgrade from the Kenwood deck I had. Apple CarPlay is awsome! Controls are very intuitive. I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone looking for a fairly inexpensive upgrade to a factory unit. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Excellent. Great sound and perfect for what I needed. Converted 06 corvette got apple car play w navigation through CarPlay. Rear camera and blue tooth audio and phone function. Easy to use controls and great graphic. It moved my old car into the 2020s!

I bought this along with back up camera for my 2011 Ram truck. It increased audio and technology functionality through Apple Car play and screen. Improvement safety through blue tooth and the addition of a back up camera.

We purchased this unit for a car we recently bought for our 16 year old daughter. We had a backup camera installed in conjunction with this and they work together flawlessly. The Apple CarPlay also works extremely well and so far there have been no issues. The Geek Squad installation process was easy and the tech did a great job installing everything on schedule. Overall we are extremely pleased with the purchase.

I have upgraded from stock 4inch screen for my truck and this one is doing well as a upgrade.weblink and android auto are so useful and quick to boot up. Alot of customizing options

Great screen, easy to navigate. Apple & android connection is very smooth.

Not displeased but now understand that i needed more information. After install I found that the compass for my truck no longer functioned. Also discovered that adding a remote module for CarPlay is not adaptable to this radio. Will always have to have hone connected via a phone.

Purchased for gift for sons 2008 Ford Edge also added backup camera and hooked up steering wheel controls. Works perfect. Installed by Best Buy to perfection. Installer was super nice and was able to explain everything he was doing and explained how everything works and got it done in a very short time. Would recommend having them install it for sure. Apple car play Was main reason to purchase and it is awesome.

I got a car stereo installed into my son's first car and it looks like it came with the car!! It made the volume of the radio even louder, which of course a 17 year old boy is going to love, and now my so can be hands-free because the Apple Car Play! Besides the product, the gentleman who installed the stereo was super nice and professional! He got the job done super quick too!

My Pioneer 7” Car Play with Bluetooth and Sirius XM radio ready Digital media receiver is just perfect for my car. It is larger than my current entertainment screen; it has Bluetooth, and is Sirius XM radio ready. I can’t wait to get it installed.

Great installer, new radio in old jeep. I think that his name was Grant, in the Greenville, NC. store. He was polite, pleasant, friendly and very competent. I would highly recommend him to my friends. My experience with this Best Buy store was great, from the guy on the floor who helped me decide on which radio to buy.

Everything essential for a car even a backup cam, adjustable settings, and carplay/android auto
