I love the CarPlay feature. He just plugs his phone in and all his apps pop up on the screen including his navigation app. He inputs his destination and off he goes without having to touch his phone again. He can answer calls and even listen to and send text messages with his voice only. Looks great at night.

When I end a phone call the screen will not return to the preferred view. I have to turn off the power and turn it back on. My A continues to have very much static also. It could be the Geek Squad installation and not the unit - not sure.

Best Purchase ever!

Finally my outdated, factory stereo is gone and updated instantaneously with this CarPlay. Bluetooth, gps, etc. my new iPhone 12 Siri is temperamental and doesn’t listen half the time but when plugged into the car now, the stereo’s Siri listens all the time and makes everything hands free. Love it love it love it! Also the trim kit sold along with it fits in the Tacoma perfectly and looks factory installed. Best Buy did a great job installing.
