Have transferred it between a couple cars and is always solid. Every now and then a little freeze issue but nothing a restart hasn’t fixed. Wish it had a volume dial VS the buttons

If i was to make a comment would be i think installation instructions on wiring could be better and for android auto users do not forget to hook up parking brake ground or it will not work on android auto .

Wade did an awesome job on the installation. I love my upgraded system and ALL of it's features. The sound significantly improved also.

Great Car Stereo plus free installation

Plus installation is free. Of course, you'll have the buy the required adaptors to install it but not bad. I also had a back-up camera installed with it and it worked with this stereo perfectly.

Definitely increases the sound quality and volume of the music and overall a huge improvement from factory audio. Looks great installed. Directions on the various aspects of how to use Carplay and maneuver through the screens could be better and provided in more detail.

Thought it was a Sirius XM receiver but just uses Apple Car Play. Not exactly what I was looking for but didn’t know until after it was installed. Good sound and all but have to keep attaching my phone and had to update my plan to cover the extra streaming that using it entailed, an extra $15 per month.

The DMH-1500NEX is SiriusXM Ready. This means you need to purchase the SXV300 tuner and connect it to the stereo.
You can also do SiriusXM through Apple CarPlay. You install the application and sign up there. When you connect the phone to the stereo for Apple CarPlay, it will appear as a source within CarPlay.

Installation is a breeze when you follow directions. Just purchased face trim and some extra wiring in case I need to put factory radio back in.

This receiver has inputs for 2 cameras. So I have a rear backup camera and a front camera. So there's no more guessing where the front end is when parking.

I previously bought the Sony XAV-AX3000 and it sucks. Then i bought this unit and i was amazed. It actually power the antenna in my car. I get very good radio signal. The Bluetooth pairs fast. The sound is amazing! I would recommend it to anyone
