Rear Balance/ Fade Doesn't Work

I can use the balance/ fade on the front two speakers and they work correctly. However, the rear speakers don't. I hooked the original radio back up and everything was working correctly. I hooked the new radio back up and the rear speakers still barely put out any sound when I have the balance/ fade in the rear speakers. I tried to connect the wires differently to see if that was the problem, but it wasn't. The company told me to take it back to where I bought it, but by the time I had called and received an answer from Pioneer, and the company for my interface, it was too late to return the radio to Best Buy. I also live just over an hour away, so that didn't help, either. Other than this problem, the radio works great!

2011 Toyota RAV4 radio replacement!

This radio was a nice upgrade with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Once you figured out the controls, does everything that we needed along with the ability to charge our phones through the USB port

Thought it was a Sirius XM receiver but just uses Apple Car Play. Not exactly what I was looking for but didn’t know until after it was installed. Good sound and all but have to keep attaching my phone and had to update my plan to cover the extra streaming that using it entailed, an extra $15 per month.

The DMH-1500NEX is SiriusXM Ready. This means you need to purchase the SXV300 tuner and connect it to the stereo.
You can also do SiriusXM through Apple CarPlay. You install the application and sign up there. When you connect the phone to the stereo for Apple CarPlay, it will appear as a source within CarPlay.

Fit perfectly. Only problem so far was CarPlay did not work for about 4-5 hours...unsure why but it started working the next day.
