So many great features, the ability to use gestures to turn volume up or down and change songs is great! No need to search for a button or knob. Easily connect a rear monitor for the back seat or mirror your iPhone via hdmi (make sure to order the Jvc or kenwood micro hdmi to hdmi cable) I purchased a regular micro hdmi to hdmi cable not the automotive grade cable and it did not work.

Aftermarket Apple Car Play Unit

The issue is the unit does not operate seamlessly when you plug your phone in and try to access Apple Car Play. It sometimes takes multiple try’s of plugging phone in to get it to “see” the phone. When it is working it is a great unit!

Did the Free Install from BestBuy and they are really quick at installing this unit. I installed the backup camera my self from Amazon and some tutorials on you tube. The color is a little saturated so you need to go set the parking brake and go into the settings and adjust the color there (red, blue, green).
