Have to wait a month for an install date. But I sure my son will love it. One problem is there needs to be more than one person who works in car stereos at one time. Having to wait almost an hour to ask a question is a little ridiculous and almost cost Best Buy a sale.

The installer BJ was and is the best. Can't ask for better in any catagory. This coming from a small business Manager ,keep this guy because people like him are far and fewer in between. Tried calling Best Buy to get it repaired since it was under warranty and I got a protection plan no answer from anyone and just kept guiding me to a link to schedule a repair that did not give you the option to actually schedule a repair.

Great buy for the price

This stereo is great, I use it to stream amazon music, youtube music and iHeartt radio. The terrestrial radio stations also come in great (better than my original stereo). Navigation works well too and is convenient.

It’s not free installation

Please have the Geek Squad explain the free installation. I suspect it is just the labor, not the accessories you need for the installation. Most vehicles will require a dash adapter and/or a wiring harness adapter kit. These can be quite expensive.

You are correct, the DMH-1500NEX does not support Wireless Apple CarPlay or Wireless Android Auto.
