It’s not free installation

Please have the Geek Squad explain the free installation. I suspect it is just the labor, not the accessories you need for the installation. Most vehicles will require a dash adapter and/or a wiring harness adapter kit. These can be quite expensive.

Tried calling Best Buy to get it repaired since it was under warranty and I got a protection plan no answer from anyone and just kept guiding me to a link to schedule a repair that did not give you the option to actually schedule a repair.

For Apple CarPlay, the iPhone needs to be plugged into the stereo.
You want to use the provided USB extension cable. In most cases, the factory USB port will not work for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

All the parts needed to install per Best Buy installation was going to be $575. Don’t advertise free installation and make people pay more than the cost of the item. This was returned. Very disappointed in Best Buy.
