    When I use CarPlay the radio cutoff the music for a second I feel disappointed !!!

    Radio sucks in many ways

    It keep disconnecting from my Samsung phone. I have to unplug and plug it back in again to work. Sometimes the backup camera does not come on or it stops working as I am backing up. The guide lines are bad they are up in the air and the camera looks like a fish bowl. It's disappointing.

    Nice but after 30 days of use i got problem with the audio it stop then come back ...also tou have have s22 or s21 ultra good luck cauz Aadroid auto wont work with those latest samsung

    Not one of their best at all bluetooth hardly wants to connect has error messages coming on the screen wish i could take it back got it for my wife as a Christmas present really a blow back in my face i would give this unit no stars if i could

    I’m returning this car stereo!!!!!! Had it installed by Best Buy, with new JBL speakers. The radio will play and then just power off for no reason!!!! Totally disappointed in this item!!!!! I will be returning it!!!!!

    Open box Said only scratches didn’t mention missing parts detrimental for the radio to work or that it was completely used. Had another person‘s name in the Bluetooth.

    I purchased this Pioneer 7" Android Auto and Apple CarPlay receiver for my 2016 Jeep Wrangler, and initially, I was thrilled with it. The display is clear, the interface is intuitive, and it transformed my driving experience with seamless smartphone integration. However, after about a year of use, a critical issue developed: all the physical buttons on the unit now only turn the volume DOWN. There's absolutely no way to turn the volume up using the stereo itself. I've completely lost the ability to control Apple CarPlay functions through the unit's buttons as well. Fortunately, the steering wheel volume controls in my Jeep still work properly, which is the only reason this hasn't become completely unusable. Another disappointment: despite being advertised for wireless connectivity, you actually need to purchase an additional Bluetooth adapter to truly connect wirelessly to this unit. That should have been mentioned more clearly or included with the purchase. When it works, it's a fantastic stereo that really upgrades an older vehicle. But this volume control failure after just one year is unacceptable for a product at this price point. I'm hoping Best Buy or Pioneer will step up and offer to fix this issue free of charge, as it seems like a manufacturing defect rather than normal wear and tear. Overall, I'm happy with the features when they work, but disappointed in the longevity and hidden costs.

      The DMH-1500NEX is not a wireless Android Auto or wireless Apple CarPlay product. I could not find on our website or Best Buy's website, where it indicates this.
      The volume issue is concerning. Disconnect the steering wheel control adapter from the WR (wired remote) port on the back of the stereo. If the controls start working, we will know the steering wheel control adapter is causing communication issues.     Nice Unit

    It's a perfect fit and works well in my 2015 Kia. Apple play, nice backup camera. Depending on car, you will probably need more cable adapters, my car has steering wheel controls for unit. BUT I checked Crutchfield, and Best Buy was same price for everything and they installed unit for free. Just make sure Best Buy has all of the extra items you need for your car already in stock and there before you take vehicle for appointment. I purchased mine and had it in the car when I went there. I live in AZ, its hot here. So I went ahead and purchased warranty. Which mine is 4 years and cost 40.00. Normally I wouldn't do this, but heat kills electronic stuff here. And for that money they can replace and deal with it instead of me.

    Awesome upgrade

    Installed in my wife’s 2008 Toyota tundra Installed in 45 minutes make sure you order a wire harness adapter for whatever vehicle you’re going to put it in makes installation really fast. You need to splice all the wires together, but pioneer gives really detailed instructions and was real easy solder or Crimp it together either way is good .I’ve been buying pioneer since I was a teenager and always had great performance even without an Amplifier this particular radio, really modernized the truck and added a back up Camera since to the stereo it was real easy to install as Well looks as good as my 2024(ps) works with Apple or android

    Great unit for $300

    Installed this unit in my 350z, looks great. I love the features of this thing, it has spotify, maps, phone, weather, youtube with use of weblink app (easy). Make sure you get a parking break bypass thing to wire in for use of android auto and weblink. You can have messages from facebook and text read outloud, and reply with microphone. You can navigate with microphone, the microphone sounds better than my phones microphone, it's awesome. there's a hard button for microphone use and its onscreen also. It's easy to use this headunit, doesnt take long at all to figure out everything. I'm so glad I got this one out of every other headunit available for $300-$400, dont hesitate to buy.

    Amazing radio. Have had this exact model before. It’s very easy to use and the interface is clean. Sound is amazing. Apple CarPlay works FLAWLESSLY. My favorite perk is that you can change the colors of the lights on the radio. Will always use Pioneer over any other brand!

    This is a new brand for me. I’ve not ever used it. I’ve used several other brands. They were all very difficult to use screens or iffy I guess because of the heat in the car I just got installed 01 vehicle and it works just as I wanted to impressive impressed

    Great unit does what it says well. The antenna for XM does not have a strong enough ground plane, but it works great with a few signal losses, which is noticeable. Once the software and firmware upgrades were completed, Android started working.

    This radio was a replacement for a Pioneer radio that was installed in my truck. Everything integrated well except for my Pioneer aftermarket backup camera. Because this radio uses collision avoidance, which my other radio didn't have, it occasionally beeped when nothing was around. I solved this by disconnecting the external speaker. I now have great stereo sound with good stereo separation from my truck's speakers. I am very pleased with my purchase.
