This stereo unit has served me well so far. It's wired-only and does charge the phone while running CarPlay or Android Auto. Great feature: It has the ability to pair a phone over Bluetooth for audio while another phone is connected with the cable. An iPhone was playing music over Bluetooth while the Samsung phone was connected with the USB-C cable running Android Auto and Waze on the screen. Sound for both was shared so you could hear the music and directions without having to disconnect either phone.

U can’t actually get someone in the store in the phone I was on the phone for over an hour and a half with someone but actually got lucky with a good system and free installation and it’s very easy to use has back up camera and sounds great got right in got my installation spot

Installed this unit in my 350z, looks great. I love the features of this thing, it has spotify, maps, phone, weather, youtube with use of weblink app (easy). Make sure you get a parking break bypass thing to wire in for use of android auto and weblink. You can have messages from facebook and text read outloud, and reply with microphone. You can navigate with microphone, the microphone sounds better than my phones microphone, it's awesome. there's a hard button for microphone use and its onscreen also. It's easy to use this headunit, doesnt take long at all to figure out everything. I'm so glad I got this one out of every other headunit available for $300-$400, dont hesitate to buy.

The radio works great. A little connectivity issue to Apple CarPlay when I initially start my car, but once the car is in reverse or drive the Apple CarPlay will connect. The response time between each touch on the screen is incredibly quick. Installation was smooth. I have a 2014 Toyota Corolla S that has the Toyota radio fried (dealership stated that the computer chip inside the radio fried and the company that made those chips went out of business year ago). The dealership was going to charge me $1.1k to put in the OEM radio (that broke on me anyways in 2019!). I would recommend this radio to others who are looking to upgrade to Apple car play. The only thing I wish this model had was knobs for the volume. Luckily I have my steering wheel controls, but I know for other vehicles this may not be available. The volume buttons are slim and small in the bottom left corner of the unit.

Excellent buy. So far so good after installing on my own. Touch screen is very responsive and overall easy to use. I am satisfied with CarPlay option when connecting directly to the integrated USB port. Please note this unit is not wireless but has Bluetooth option. Had never purchased a Pioneer auto unit before but have to say for the short while that I have been using the unit, I am impressed with its functionality, added adaptable options, and its performance.

Bought this for my truck to replace an old stereo. Love the screen size and the ability to use Apple CarPlay on it. So much easier to navigate on Google Maps too.

It fits perfectly. I am very pleased with the quality. The install was pretty easy. The price was very reasonable.

I've been very pleased with this radio overall. Apple CarPlay is great and the overall radio reception is Very Good. I do have a couple of small things that would improve the product. 1. My car is old and I don't have the steering wheel volume buttons, so the front bezel buttons on the radio are very small and I worry about wearing them out. 2. I listen to AM radio, and was surprised that the AM radio wasn't HD. Overall, I like the radio and feel that it was a good investment. I especially like the fact that I could integrate a backup camera. The backup camera and the hands free phone features were the main reason that I bought this radio.

Bought this to replace the OEM unit in a 2014 Toyota Venza. Main goal was getting CarPlay for my wife and my iPhones. Best Buy installer was great, looks great. Everything works as hoped with only a couple of nits to pick. 1. Phones must be connected by cable for CarPlay to work, can’t just use Bluetooth. 2. The reverse camera work fine but doesn’t show the “curves” while backing. 3. The radio: on a couple of stations that show the song playing and artist, it remains stuck on the song first played when tuning in. Changing channels and back again will update it but then it just displays the same song again.

I've owned many Pioneer head units over the years, and they never disappoint. Sounds great and easy to navigate. I have 2 negatives that are not a game changer but worth noting: 1. The unit does not connect to the vehicles built-in microphone, and the quality of pioneers isn't great. Easily fixed by adding an aftermarket mic at installation. 2. The unit does connect to the vehicles backup camera, but the picture is a little grainy. The stock radio had a 3" screen so I assume there's a compatibility issue that could be resolved if the Pioneer had screen resolution adjustment. I honestly haven't done that much research. If the picture quality is important to you, I'd look at higher priced units or other manufacturers to see if any other's may include a screen resolution adjustment feature. Otherwise, I love this unit and would recommend!

I bought this to go into a 2016 Subaru Forester and it works great. I paired it with a iDatalink Maestro and the proper adapter harness. This radio when paired with the Maestro was able to pickup all the different gauges (MPH, RPM, etc.), battery voltage, tire pressure, and the door sensors. Apple CarPlay works flawlessly with the unit, the radio stations come in clear and everything works perfectly. The larger screen is a bonus especially at this price point.

Added back up camera, microphone for hands free talking and steering wheel volume control to 2008 FJ cruiser. It is a very nice upgrade. The receiver has large screen and easy to navigate. I connect with apple iphone. The Pioneer has worked as advertised. 0 star rating for the ability to communicate with install department at Best Buy. I bought the receiver and used Peter who owns a local shop on the island to install.

Installed this on my 2003 Honda Pilot. Awesome features and easy to use. I also installed a rear view camera and the image is sharp and easy to see. Android Auto (and the Apple alternative) work seamlessly with this. The call feature is a bit wonky while your driving..then again you shouldn't be driving and talking in the phone. The included microphone works better than most internal car misc. I would definitely recommend.

I got this for my son’s 17th birthday and it is amazing. Better than expected. The screen is the perfect size and I love that he can use his Bluetooth to be hands free.. great quality, I highly recommend..

Purchased this unit from Best Buy for my wife’s Chevy Malibu. Let me say this, hands down the best car stereo on the market for this price point. The numerous features are too many to list. Some of my favorites are Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth wireless connectivity, and Hands free Siri. This unit has brought new life to the car!! We cant wait to jump in for each road trip.

This is a nice and good looking car play . I installed it for my 2012 Honda accord . Stereo is good. Maps , teams and WhatsApp along with inbuilt mic for handsfree calling , changed the entire driving experience!
